They feel like aluminum. The key rings are strong as well not the cheap ones that pull free. All in all it's a worthwhile purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great replacement for my old type *by J***R on 22 September 2018* My old plastic Kubotan that had a screw to fasten the key ring was wearing out. Was concerned about screw popping out of the eroded plastic and all the keys flying off. I use the silver "Amathing" and it is so much more secure being aluminum with no screw holding the key ring.
