PetSafe EasySport Harness – Adjustable padded straps with control handle and reflective piping – From the makers of the Easy Walk Harness – Small – Blue

I've tried a few harnesses on my rescue dog Jake but had no luck getting the right one to stop Jake pulling and to stop pulling round his neck and put strain on his shoulders. I saw the petsafe easysport harness online and read all the reviews and liked the idea that Jake's lead would clip on halfway down his back so wouldn't be pulling on his neck and shoulders and would stop him from pulling and he would start walking like a good boy. I couldn't wait for jakes new harness to arrive but when it did I put it straight on jake and yes the elastic was too big for him round the neck and the adjustable straps round his body were too big but I adjusted them as small as I could and in fact when I put his lead on the elastic sat back a bit more round his neck so I was quite happy with how it fitted even though it would of been better if I'd of brought a smaller size.. THIS HARNESS REALLY IS FANTASTIC!!!!! QaqsJake really did stop pulling the first time I put his new harness on and he even looked really relaxed and happy wearing it. I love the handle on his back which I use when we meet people whilst still on his lead so I have more control over him and can stop him from jumping up. I even thought to begin with that the harness might be a bit bulky but Jake is so happy and relaxed wearing it so if Jake is happy so am I. There are a couple of things that could be changed but even with those how they are this really is THE BEST HARNESS EVER!! The elastic round the neck could be stronger after taking Jake out for the first time in his new harness when we got back there were already 2 strands of eleastic broken and since then (June) there are a few more bits gone or gone really loose so you need to keep checking it each time you walk your dog. I'm going to have to get some stronger elastic sown onto the harness but it's got to get through the harness material too so will need to be done by a sowing machine. The other thing is underside of the harness is a mesh which is a great idea so that air can flow freely around but the problem I'm having is all the grass seeds are getting inside the mesh and when we get back from a walk (which we go out twice a day ) near enough the whole of the underside mesh is full of grass seed and believe me it's really not easy to get rid of. Dog/cat owners know that grass seeds are very dangerous if just one gets into their blood stream so you have to get rid of every one.I also used the harness as a seat belt harness too and this can be used in two different ways either by putting your seat belt straight through the handle on the back of the harness before clipping in and the other way is to clip an adjustable seat belt lead onto the harness and then into the seat belt holder, easy. If you're thinking about getting a harness for your dog then really look no further as its a really good harness for those dogs that pull

Very easy to put on and seems comfortable for my dog. Well made and durable. A little snug to get back over his head but he doesn’t seem to mind. Overall a good purchase.

For large dogs

One item was ok the other was defective the elastic stretched within a couple of used making it unusable . Seller didn’t respond to any messages and Amazon weren’t much help either. Ended up having to return both even though one wasn’t faulty. Terrible service, and communication

We did like this a lot and have now been using it for about three months. The only problem is that the elastic which makes it less static and kinder to the dog has started to deteriorate. This is such a shame as the overall structure is sturdy and it works well for our labradoodle. I wish they had used a better grade of elastic tape as I can see that it will need replacing in a couple of months. Hope the local tailor shop can replace the elastic straps.

This is a brilliant harness, which reduces the pull factor and seems extremely comfortable for my dog. The handle is very useful as he lies down on his walks if I don't go in the direction of his choosing, so I can just pull him gently up and put him firmly back on his feet! It is very robust but for one failing. Ted has worn his harness since May, but it has only been really wet weather during June, but even so, the black elastic on the neck part is already showing signs of deterioration. Perhaps the seller could advise me as to what to do about this, as at this rate with another month of rain, the harness won't be safe to use.

Extremely pleased with the quality of this harness. I spent a long time choosing this harness as my dog is not only a puller mainly due to the fact that he is a very nervous little boy but when he gets scared of something like a gun shot noise he tends to panic and bolts for home. Because of this fact he was hurting his neck and throat through the constant pulling of his collar. This harness is brilliant, not only is it extremely secure but it takes all the pressure from the neck and transfers it to the upper chest. He has been wearing it now on his walk for 3 days and although it will not stop the pulling I am definitely in better control of him. He is totally safe with this product and I really cannot praise it enough. I bought a small size and it fits him perfectly. Well done. Also one last little thing to add is that it is not plastered with the makers name all over the place like some.
