Timberland Back Road Hiker Boot (Toddler/Little Kid)

We bought these little hiking boots for our son who was getting cold and wet feet while we were walking a trail that has many wet spots where you must cross a creek. I would say these boots did a great job keeping his feet clean and dry. The material is waterproof which is great for a brave toddler who likes going through all forms of water. The only time his feet got wet while wearing these was when his foot was submerged, so naturally the water came in through the top.These boots are attractive and my son absolutely loves them and loves to show them off. They fit perfectly. Not too big nor too small. I was very relieved to see that they come in half sizes as my son is just a little too big for the 7, but not quite ready for the 8.They are easy to clean off once walked through several trails of mud. DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE DRYER. This will ruin the nice exterior material and these great boots will no longer be waterproof.Overall, I would recommend these for any adventurous little one who has a hard time avoiding puddles and other feet-drenching material!

We bought these for our two year old son as fall/winter boots. He absolutely loves them! He refused to wear all his other shoes once he got them. They are super cute, and he gets lots of compliments on them.We ordered a size 9, though at the time he was fitting exactly a size 8. They fit a bit big at first, but still worked. He's been wearing them now for four or five months, and they still look new. I was worried that they would be difficult to get on and off, since there's no zipper, but they are very easy. The laces need to be double knotted to stay tied, and even then sometimes come untied, but that is the only issue. He's tested their durability and waterproofing, and they pass with flying colors.I hope Timberland continues to make this boot, because I plan to buy it every year for my son as long as he likes them! My husband even said he wished they made an adult version so he could have some.

I was surprised as they arrived, they were even cuter than I thought. My littlest likes it very much. He is 1 year 10 month old, 88cm tall, 14kg. He was wearing 7.5, and had space as I ordered the boot, so I ordered 8 to have a little more space for the thick socks. 8 fits good, he has some space, one finger, as it should be, although I think it wont fit next year, and I think it will not fit with the merino wool socks I bought, but it doesent matter, since the merino wool socks turned out to be too big for him (his bigger brother is going to use them). The shoes does not just looks nice, it has a good stable and at the same time soft sole (not as soft as sneekers, but softener than most boots. I think I wont have problems with the quality. I havent tested the waterproofnes till now, but watching my kid I can say they are comfortable. They delivered fast.

The boots arrived in a timely manner in great condition. Shoe sole was soft and flexible and stylish looking just like it's pictured. Only problem was the wrong size. Ordered a big kid size 6.5 and ended up with a toddler size. Had some difficulties working out the return vs exchange and wound up just returning the item. Being a Timberland boot owner myself I wanted my child to have them as mine have withstood the years of use and were comfortable from the moment I put on the boot. If I could find this boot in the correct size I would definitely purchase again. The cost for the quality is second to none!

The look of the shoe is good. I haven't tested them for being waterproof or for durability because we just got them. They do seem a little narrow and when paired with thick hiking socks were a little tight. At first the 2 1/2 year old refused to wear them, but the second time he kept them on for about and hour. No blisters, but they will need time to break them in before heavy duty hiking like we want to do in a few weeks. I did purchase a half size up, so the length is good, but since they're narrow and I know I'm using very thick socks, then a wide might work out better in our scenario.

Got these for my grandson. They are great, Timberland quality. They fit just like I wanted them to. We do a lot of hiking and he has gotten to the age that he needs a good pair of boots. These are waterproof and have a good tread pattern. These should open up some new adventures for us. Also, they are a good price/value, which is important because at that age their feet grow so fast that they won't fit for too long. I got them a bit large to last a while, but they still offer good support.

I bought these for my little one year old grandson. I intended for them to be just a little large, which they were. He wears them and walks and trots all around and loves them. He is now 19 months old and still can wear them. They are sturdy and durable and will last longer than his feet will fit in them. Plan to pass them onto my friend's grandson when my grandson outgrows them. I will buy my granson another pair come spring.

Got these for a 4 year old boy who likes hiking. He wore them for the first time and as soon as the terrain got steep he was impressed that he wasn't slipping or sliding like he did in his regular shoes.Minus one star because the tongue isn't gusseted all the way to the ankle like a truly waterproof hiking boot.

Very comfy, size is slightly bigger than a normal UK2.5 and the leather quality is amazing!Top quality exactly what you expect from Timberland! Highly recommend!
