Etna Woodland Owl Table Lamp With Silhouette Shade,Brown

It's small but I knew it would be.....I'd rather spend money on something like this, that's less holiday-specific, for my Autumn/Halloween decorating. My grand-kids and I all love it. I like that the silhouettes on the shade completely disappear when the lamp is off, for a subtler look, since I keep it in my bedroom. Great, warm, atmospheric lighting--get a different reading lamp if that's what you have in mind.

Received well packaged and in good shape. The lamp does not put off much light and takes a 15 W bulb much like a nightlight bulb (one is included). I think if it was elevated I may be able to read in bed by the light; that might be a stretch, but it does seem to put off as much light as a booklight. It is going to be best used as accent or night light. It might work in a hall or when you want just a bit of light while watching TV. The shade is very pretty, and the silhouette pattern works just right. There are a couple of places, where the trim meets, that are just slightly off. The figurine portion is very, very pretty with lots of detail. It has lots of texture with the feathers, leaves, and so on. I was upset with the small size, but that was my error and the lamp is so adorable that I want to keep it. My overall disappointment is that it is not a lamp that will work bedside for reading and I don't think the description made that clear.

I got the item and took it out of the box and one of the owls was broken

My wife loved it! It does not put off a whole lot of light since it is so small. Was much smaller than I expected, so make sure you read the measurements carefully. Very unique lamp. It feels cheap when you put it together, but it doesn't look cheap. The top hangs on the light bulb, which I found kinda cheesy, but you can't tell that unless you go to change the light bulb

I purchased this item for my mother in law since she collects owls, so I thought that she would enjoyed this nice and adorable lamp. For my sake, she loved it, she was very happy and excited about the lamp. Nice built, nice price and very easy to move and place where ever you wish to. The lamp looks good any place you place it. Very happy about my purchased.

Very disappointed in the size. Very small for the money. Not even a good bedside lamp:((

Adorable little lamp. Detail is very good. Sadly the shade had a dent in it that would not pop back out. Bought a replacement shade for it, but wished that we could have used the original shade with the owls on it. You can't see the owls on the shade until the light is on and then they appear. The shade is what made the lamp cute & unique. I think better packing of the shade before shipment would eliminate this problem. It's very cute!
