Child size 4: it could probably hold 4-5 pair. If some of the shoes were sandals, it could hold even more. The No hands slip in shoes are a little thick to get 3 pairs in so 3rd pair will have to thin sole flip flops or slippers. Love the pattern and quality is good. Love the extra pocket in the back- and the slot to slip over handle on suitcase is great. Hasn’t been wet so can’t attest to that.
