Medium Long is Lonnnnnng. Boy oh Boy are they baggy. im not even a skinny guy
Here is why I gave it only 3/5 Stars: I do like them and they appear to be great quality:First off: When they say "Medium Long" they mean LONG. these pants are crazy long. like honestly who is that tall. im 6'0'' and these go about 4-7 inches past my toes when i put them on.Second: good lord these are baggy. Its like wearing parachute pants. If they were not so long I would have to go to the tailor to have them made not so baggy.Third: I ordered the "Tru-spec Shirt/blouse in Olive" and then ordered these "True Spec Olive pants" and they are not the same color. which is annoying since it is from the same company: the pants are a darker shade of Olive (actually when i think of Olive drab i think the color of the pants. the shirt is more of a olive drab with grey thrown in)

Awesome bdu's!!!!!
These are awesome bdu's....but you have to pay attention to your size compared to Tru-Spec. I got a large short. They fit perfect. I'm 72" tall and they come down to my ankles which is what your looking for. The any size regular is too long for anyone that's under 6'2 or 6'3. Do not get regular, get short. I know that sounds strange but do it. Also, my waist is 38-39 and I originally got the XL. Way to big around the waist. I returned and exchanged for lrg short. Now they fit perfect and they have a great look to them

Hips like Adam Levine, thighs like Lou Ferrigno
Way too baggy in the legs and crotch. Extreme.I have two other pairs of Tru-Spec Med-short bdu pants, have had them for years. I can't recall the total history of when/where I bought them. One pair is 100% cotton and they fit me well; on the verge of being short but I'm sure they shrunk since I wash and dry in hot-hot. The other pair is something like 60/40 cotton polyester; when they were brand new they were slightly more roomy all around than what the cotton ones were like as brand new. And then of course they (the roomier 60/40 pair) never shrunk even though washed and dried in hot-hot. I wish the cotton ones had shrunk slightly less than they have and wish the 60/40 ones shrunk even a little bit. However, in the end, both fit well enough for blue collar work and bumming around.Back to the current review. They just barely fit in the waist, so the waist is smaller than the above mentioned 60/40 pair, exactly as snug as my shrunk down cotton ones. Despite this, the roominess in the crotch, butt and especially in the thighs is way too huge. I included a pic with me fitting both my legs inside one pants leg. I'm pretty average size, not thin and not thick, I have a 32 in waist and both of my thighs fit easily into one leg. I don't want to wear pants that are so baggy that I could literally fit another whole leg inside. Then, of course, since the crotch is roomier and lower than it should be, the accurate reading on the inseam makes the pants end up being altogether too long. How can someone have a 32 inch waist and need pants with 30 inch thighs? The other pic is my three pairs of Tru-Spec Med-Short pants. I did my best to line them up the same to be fair. You can get a rough visual on the differences. With normal pants like khakis or chinos, I wear 32W - 29/30L. By all estimations, Med-Short should be my best bet. I've had many pairs in the past and they are usually just a tiny bit too roomy for how I want to wear them, but they are better than other sizes. Which is why I looked for cotton so I could allow for a little shrinkage.I was originally going to give them only one star because the size is so strange and I can't imagine someone with my waist or smaller needing pants with double my thigh size. But there are a few positive points. At a minimum, they are correct as ordered. Meaning: they are 100% cotton; they are true to the bdu format; they are a heavier weight of fabric than I expected, heavier than my other cotton ones were when they were brand new, so maybe they would wear well. The stitching looks a bit sketchy; good in a few areas but the pic shows loose stitching at the top of the front pockets. A few buttons feel sewn too tightly, making them hard to open and close, while a couple others feel too loose, ready to pop off.I almost considered keeping them, shrinking the hell out of them, and using them as winter outer pants with thermals/warm up pants underneath. But in that usage the waist would be too tight. So they will be returned.

Best pockets of any BDU style pants. My hands thank them for being able to reach into the pockets.
When I wear these chicks go wild. I bought them extra tight so I look like a cross between Tom Jones and Rambo... No kidding, these are great pants. All Tru-Specs seem great - pants, covers, shirts, everything. The "less than mainstream" camo pattern is a nice change. Build quality is really good. They are a little heavier material than some. Thicker material, heavier thread with more bar tacks and double stitching and what not. Might be more appropriate for cooler seasons than summer in Phoenix. These (all TS's I've owned) have the best front "hand pockets" of any brand BDU/Fatigue/Whatever pants I've had. There's enough opening to reach your hand in there even if you have a bunch of bat accessories in your bat pouches on your bat belt. I've got some BDUs that just wearing a small folding knife in a sheath interferes with your hand reaching in to get your keys, your book of numbers and your remedies. (see what I did there?)

Good,...but
Pants were about as similiar as you can get to military issue, without going to Clothing & Sales on a base. The only observation is that I ordered the khaki color. What I got was closer to a coyote or camel color. Definitely will not come close to matching the lighter khaki pants I already have. For me it isn't a huge deal. But for someone standing in a formation, you'd stand out. I'd buy again, based on material, quality, & shipping time. Just be aware of the color you get if it is important to you. I'd order early, just in case you needed to return them.

Bizarre sizing - good pants
The sizing on these pants is just bizarre. I’m 5’10” 200 lbs. and average proportion. So I bought the large. Because everything I buy is large. They were HUGE. Like the opposite of what you get from China (I’ve learned if a jacket is for sale in China, I should order a XXL or a XXXL or it won’t fit). So I returned the pants and ordered the medium regular. Still too long in the leg, like by a significant margin, but otherwise fine. Bizarre.Regardless, the pants are well made and I like them enough to have the cuffs hemmed. Next time I buy, I’ll order a medium short. If you’re 6’4”, start with the large and go from there...
