Unbelievably good
The craftsmanship is second to none. It's simply a beautiful instrument. There were no flaws on the one I received. The sound level is far better than the old Fender acoustics. These have gone up by about a hundred dollars in the last few years, but they've added far better hardware for a more precise sound - so, worth it by a mile. I would consider this a high-end guitar for a casual player. You're not going on tour with it, but could easily play open mic nights, etc. Having owned much cheaper beginner guitars, I can say without a doubt that had I invested in a guitar like this in the past, I wouldn't have stopped and started learning guitar so many times The built in pre-amp and tuner is second to none. The sound quality is beyond reproach. Great product, fair price, and great sound quality. .

Great quality guitar for the price
This is a really nice guitar for the price. I am really happy with it. I like the sound of the guitar and the way it looks. It also comes with a case.

Good guitar for the price
This review is for a Fender CD-140 SCE dreadnaught 6 string., I just received the guitar on 2-3-21. Ordered from Amazon. It arrived in good condition and shipping only took 3 days. My first impression was that the finish is beautiful. It is high gloss all over. The down side of this is that the neck is also glossy which tends to be a little more "sticky" than a satin or matte finish would be. The fret board edges are very smooth and the action seems just right. I couldn't detect any fret buzz. After I tuned it and played a little I was happy with the tone and sustain. It also sounds good plugged into my Crate acoustic amp. The sound was clear with no feedback or noise. The Fishman Pre amp controls aren't the greatest. The little knobs for volume bass and treble are very small and it is hard to see how much you have turned them. The on board tuner is ok and closely matches the settings of my digital clip on tuner. The guitar weighs exactly 5 pounds and feels fairly light--which I like. It came with a hard case, which is fine, especially when you check case prices running at least $60 and up. It also came with a 10 foot cable, and a hex wrench for adjusting the truss rod. I paid $299 but have seen most sellers asking $439. The bottom line is that this guitar is a bargain, and seems to be well made and of decent quality.. I give it 4 stars, but really, when you consider the price, even at $400 it is close to a 5.

EXCELLENT GUITAR for the money
I wanted an acoustic but had a budget. I bought this because of the solid top and what I read about it on Amazon and online in youtube. It has a real, rich sound that is very clear. It holds tune well. It is big but it is a dreadnaught which was a little tough getting used to but I really enjoy this guitar. I shopped around for about 4 months going to guitar stores and the price range for this size with the solid top narrows it down to a few guitars plus the cut so you can play the high frets. I will say the only drawback is the action seems a little high in the higher frets but that may be normal for this price range. I know if I buy a Gibson or similar someday then I will get better action but that will cost me $3K.

Design flaw, extremely small fingerboard markers.
Good sound & playability. But with an amazing design flaw ! Who came up with the idea to make the markers on the fingerboard so small they're almost invisible ??? Really bad if you're not playing anywhere that's not in very bright daylight. Bright clear highs & mid-range. But kinda weak on the low notes. Probably due to the graphite made bridge saddle & nut. That's the trade-off. Also, thanks to Fender for the beautiful hard case that came with it.

Good guitar for the price
The neck was straight. the fret ends were smooth. The frets appear level with no buzzing. Action was a bit high for me at 3mm at the 12th, but I sanded off 2mm (took awhile:) from the bottom of the saddle to get it down to 2mm at the 12th. Still plays great. Case is solid and much better than I expected. Haven't tried the electronics and really have no need for it other than the built in tuner. I wish it had dot inlays on the fretboard. I understand that true classical guitars do not, but this is not a true classical guitar and is supposed to be a transition guitar. However, I purchased some stick on inlays that I have used before that work very well. My main complaint is that the high e is a little too close to the fingerboard edge and the low E is too far. Looks to me a slight off centering of the tailpiece and also the nut looks like it is skewed more to towards the high e side. Fairly common in this price range, I guess. Should be simple to shift the nut over a tad if it continues to bother me. Super light and thin body makes it very comfortable to play. Great kicking around sitting on the couch guitar!

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo per uno strumento made in Indonesia. Ben rifinita. Suona bene.

Ojalá me hubiese animado antes a probarla.
