Trader Joe's Chile Spiced Mango Dried Fruit (4 Pack)

I wish that they sold these in a 2 pack, not 4 pack. These were a bit too hard/ stale. They did have a pretty good taste, though. I compare the freshness/ flavor to some that I did buy from Trader Joe's that were fresher. TJ's was sold out of these, so I got them online.

Don’t buy. I don’t know what this was but it was like eating plastic with an indescribable red “spice” (barely a hint of chili) coated over the pieces. I ordered the 4-pack but apparently not a refundable product. The sad part is is that while waiting for my order, I ordered another one (4-pack) because I’ve eaten less than a month ago, which I purchased directly from Trader Joe’s in Las Vegas, and they were so good. Trust me, these outwardly look and is presented as the same, but definitely not! Tested it with my friends and we all agree. Something is shady with this product. And now I can’t even cancel the buy-again order because not refundable. There’s no mango taste, just the texture. If there is any chili in this product, it must be from a harvest at least 10 years ago because it was overly (heavily) coated, but had absolutely no describable flavor! I don’t know what those people got that gave positive reviews, but it definitely wasn’t what I received. Unless this seller just has no quality control, and in that case, you can take your chances and potentially waste your money or get lucky. Maybe that’s why Trader Joe’s isn’t selling it either. But the ones I got from my in-store purchase was delicious. This one however, was gross.

These mangoes are so delicious! They are addictive. They stopped carrying them in my neighborhood Trader Joe's. I was happy to find them on Amazon. They have a perfect combination of sweet and spicy.

Bought this last year and it was truly awesome - sweet, tangy and the chili had a nice kick.Got 2 of the 4-pack bags earlier this January and was disappointed. It's not cheap but if it tasted good it was money well spent. This time all I tasted was sweet as the overall flavor was off and the chili was barely there. I get that mangoes might taste different - some a little sour, some sweet but at least the chili should be the constant. Won't buy this again. Both bags same thing.

I love this mango it’s so addicting. However it’s very highly over priced on amazon these mangoes are priced approximately $2.00-$3.00 at Trader Joe’s.
