Overall, it lives up to expectations.
The flavor tastes just like it did 10 years ago, which is great. My only wish is that the flavor lasted longer, so you could still taste it after 5 minutes.

Caution to the Uninitiated: VERY Mentholated
Callow American here; gave this a try out of a love of blackcurrant and sugar-free gum. Seriously, we have *nothing* blackcurrant here in the States. I wasn't expecting the menthol to be so sinus-searingly strong, but I'll admit I didn't do as much research as I could have. That being said, the menthol dies down after a few minutes, leaving you extremely conscious of the location and status of your sinuses, and the cassis taste is pleasant and long-lasting afterward. Not what I thought I was getting, but I'm saving this gum for the next time I have a cold. Gum arrived quickly and seemed fresh. edit to add: Mentholated gum came in really handy when I had a cold with cough. Not sure I'd chew this otherwise, but it was better than cough drops.

Best gum maybe ever.
What's not to love? I used to buy this gum in Germany all the time, but couldn't find it when I came to the States. It is crazy menthol-y which opens up your sinuses and makes your breath super fresh. I think currant is the best flavor, as anything else runs the risk of tasting like a cough drop -- this just tastes yummy. I received my gum in 2 days and have munching it happily since!
