Assembly took a couple hours but was manageable. - This was purchased as a gift for a cosmetology teen who wanted a drawer cabinet for storing make up and hair supplies. It's excellent! The drawers work smoothly and the rolling wheels can be locked in place. The drawers are not as deep as the front panel, they're shallow but for storing make up/small items/scrap booking papers the depth is ideal. Plenty of storage and organization with this cabinet! Regarding assembly: this took some time (a little over two hours - if we were to assembly a second one it would take half the time), but it wasn't difficult. A mom, an aunt (both of whom talked and laughed the whole time) and a teen girl (along with an inquisitive dog that kept walking over all the pieces) assembled the cabinet with no errors. The instructions are a little confusing in spots, so we did have to figure some things out on our own, and once we figured out how the pictures were designed it got easier as we went along. Sorting all the parts into sections and piles saved a lot of time in the long run. There's a lot of wooden pegs, and an interesting connection involving a round wheel-like disc and pin that fits into the discs and locks into place. Once we figured out how that wheel + pin worked we announced it was a genius design and moved pretty quickly whenever assembly required those parts. It was definitely helpful to have more than one person during assembly, to hold some of the parts in place while they were being assembled - however - I honestly believe that someone could assemble this on their own. More than half way through we worried that the cabinet would be unsteady and flimsy; however once everything was assembled and the stabilizing clips were fit into the back the cabinet was sturdy and seems a lot nicer than the price would indicate! Overall a very good purchase, looks great, works great, and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice finish (black), all the parts included, no damage *by D***M on July 17, 2023* The pluses: all the parts were included, with extras of the hardware, all reasonable quality, no damage from shipping (it's a heavy box), pretty straightforward assembly particularly if you're familiar with cam locks. Tools needed were screwdriver and maybe a hammer (I found a forceful smack with the palm of my hand was all the encourage needed). I used a power screw driver to speed things along. The instructions are minimal, mostly pictures, but accurate and easy to follow. By myself it took maybe 2 hours to assemble at an easy pace with breaks for a cold drink. The negatives: it's particle board. Although the laminate finish seems pretty tough, particle board will come apart under stress or liquid exposure. Of particular concern are the casters at the bottom, since they're just screwed in and can get their wheels clogged with pet hair and jam, causing them to pull out of the bottom piece. If they'd made that bottom piece from real wood or plywood I'd feel better about it. As it is, I'm hoping I won't need to move it around too much. Overall, it's a neat little set of drawers and will serve under my desk to keep arts and crafts supplies handy and accessible.
