Worth Every Penny!
I did the unthinkable and brought this power mixer two day before the gig. I literally unpacked it out of the box and fired it up at the gig for the first time. It worked flawlessly, no hiss, no hum, just crisp clean sound from my instruments and vocals, WOW! It was easy to setup and it’s small and light weight. My speakers were made by Behringer also and I used Sure mics. If a need a bar bones small power mixer for a small venue, this is the power mixer for you.

500 watts is a little misleading...
I've owned tons of Behringer equipment, and it is the best 'bang for the buck'. However, with this PA amp, the power rating was a little misleading. They boast '500 watts'. Well, it's 500 watts 'peak', but the RMS rating is more like 125 watts per speaker (250 watts RMS total). I was wandering why is didn't blast my speakers out like a true 500 wat RMS amp should work. When I looked very closely at the documentation, there was an asterisk noting that the power was "maximum'.... hence, not RMS. It's still a good sounding PA head but I'll have to keep it in the basement for rehearsals etc. I don't think it will cut the mustard on a live gig. The second thing I was a little disappointed with, is that it has no 'monitor send' jack where I can send a signal to my hot-spot monitor. This means if I use this on a live gig, I'll have to place the speakers in such a way that I can monitor everything directly through the main speakers. Again, not a show stopper for me. I've decided to keep it because of the great price and good tone. However, I'll need to go back into shopping mode to find a PA head that will actually do what I want it to do.

Get what you pay for .. not bad, not great.
I give a 3 star because the unit is Very inexpensive. I had an older inexpensive mixer before this one that sounded good but crapped out out of nowhere. I wanted something to practice singing whilst playing guitar. This units sound, is very thin and not pleasing to my ears (not my voice lol). It just sound tinny . the effects are ok, but most are useless to me.. all I really want is some reverb and some delay. The artificial pitch shifter and whatnot are unusable .. but that is not why my review is 3 star. I knew it had unwanted effect when I bought it... i just wished it had more "beef" to the sound. miss my old mixer. I didn't return it because Its good enough I guess, and I didn't want the hassle.

Effective, simple and affordable
It solved a small venue problem I was having with an old system. Perfect match for the room. It rack mounted with a wireless mic receiver to make a solid small, inexpensive, quality PA

Great quality for a great price.
I was very light and I was shocked at the quality of sound it produced. This is a very good product.

It’s plenty of power and more than adequate EQ to drive some monitors and floor speakers
Perfect size and plenty of power to drive some EV PA speakers. Great value!

Good Amp!
Good product. The mic's sounded great with it. Both my wireless mic and mic with a cord worked great. I haven't used the effects at an event yet but are 25 to choose from. The tap feature makes sure that your echo's and delays are in time with the track. The aux input seems pretty low. I have it turned all the way up for most of the night and it wasn't even close to peaking. I wish there was a 1/4 line in but there isn't. Over all very good. I'll probably use it as a backup amp or to run my mics off of!

Weak Volume
It works out of the box. All the mic channels work, FX typical for cheap gear. Fan isn't loud on the one I got. If you're thinking this thing gets anywhere near 250 watts you're in for a real disappointment. 50 watts RMS max, I'm guessing. I'm using it in my shop to play music through some old PA speakers & it's fine for that since the neighbors will never be able to hear it. I got mine open-box for $140 delivered - that's all it's worth new, I think, given how weak it is. If you need RCA jacks, look closely @ this because it hasn't any.
