Into to Structured Text - PLC Primer - Reference
This is a good book and an excellent first step in Structured Text. (ST) I can say very many good things about the book and I do wish there was more but I will not focus much on the negatives as respectfully the subject is new to me and also I respect the author has crafted a fine, very direct piece that is intended to educate within a scope and NO, not everything is possible in 124 pages!!I work on Beckhoff and took their class and realized I didn't know enough ST to properly read code and troubleshoot...I bought this book DURING the class. Again I give my opinion here but kindly and respectfully to the author as the book fulfilled its objective and most of what I would say would improve but again is NOT criticism. The reading can be dry...at first I thought author style and perhaps Danish...so if English is not first language may sound different to us. However, realize the book written in Danish and translated...so that has added to the problem. The long experience of author could be better used with slightly more background on expressions, datatypes, variables, and showing those more simply and including assignment operators...it was page 71 before I knew => was OUTPUT. Some color and side tips and diagrams would make it more pleasant and easier to read...your brain fights to digest code examples when not used to PLC code or ST then too much rereading and question marks.BUT, this is 124 pages, black and white, with good examples and you learn what you came for. Could be better organized, stylish with color and clearer, better examples but I learned from it and I would recommend it for anyone wanting to understand ST using any PLC.

Basic Syntax Reference Only
Reasonable reference to ST programming language syntax. Does not provide much information about how to properly structure a PLC program using the ST language. Does talk about good programming practices in general but not very in depth.

Good summary
This is not a big expensive book with lot of details. It works best as a reminder for ST language syntax while programming.

Decent Reference
This was a pretty good programming reference, although it did lack a bit of basic syntax and structural information regarding usage of Structured Text programming language. Interestingly, I was reading it in a Danish accent in my head even before I saw the forward, which mentioned that the author was Danish.

Ok as reference tool
Doesn’t really cover a lot of information. Good to reference but I didn’t find it that helpful.
