The pieces of all three Care Bears Coloforms sets currently available are the same size, so the bears and accessories are swappable among the three sets (although the Classic version has a different style, so they don’t match exactly). This set can be combined with the travel set to expand your options of bears, accessories, and backgrounds. Some of the bear shapes in the travel set are exactly the same pose as bears from the contemporary full set, but they're different bears in the same pose, so it's ok. There are also some same-pose/different-bear occurrences within the full set, but not the travel set.One detail to note is that if you're a Wish Bear fan, you'll probably want to get this full-size set instead of or in addition to the travel set. The travel set has no Wish Bear.If you, however, are a fan of Heartsong Bear, Sweet Dreams Bear, and Harmony Bear, you may want to get the travel set. The travel set includes Heartsong and Sweet Dreams; the full set doesn't. The full set does include Harmony Bear, but only the flower-tummy version. The travel set includes both the flower-tummy Harmony Bear and the alternate three-heart-tummy version.This full-size set comes with two backgrounds. One is the standard Coloforms-style background of a raised cardboard piece inserted into the bottom half of the box. The second background is printed on the inside of the box top. The pieces don't stick well to the box-top background, but they stay in place well enough if you keep the board flat. If you're using this full-size set as a travel toy, both backgrounds should still work somewhat since the box-top background has the edge all around that should keep pieces from falling to the floor as they slide around.I recommend getting both this set and the travel set if you want the most options of bears, accessories, and backgrounds.I’ve included photos of the bears from both this set and the travel set, organized by pose and then by bear, so you can see which bears have duplicate poses and also can see all versions of each bear.

I loved these when I was a kid and after all these months of really trying to “stay safe and stay home” I was running out of ideas for my little one and this was a fun nostalgic treat! She has enjoyed it over and over again. Great quality and something fun and different without a screen!

Like others, I got the newer carebears unlock the magic set and NOT what is pictured. That being said it is still super cute and comes with many care bear sticker pieces. Durable as well. The child still likes it so it was worth it. Just taking off a star foe not getting what is advertised

I have the most caring little neighbors! They are leaving little love notes and drawings for me during quarantine ❤️ 📝 . I wanted to do something little for them. Today, I left the Care Bear Playset on the porch for them.They left me this beautiful drawing in exchange. Sharing is caring!

Bought these for my daughter who grew up with colorforms and she was so excited to get them. Her son wondered what they were. Everything now is all high tech.

I loved the care bears growing up. My 3 year old daughter has fell in love with them too. Unfortunately, the CLASSIC-2012 carebears. This advertises them as classic but they are the NEW 2021 bears that look like creepy anime. She plays with them but we both were disappointed.
