Listen, I’ve tried the fancy pens. The gel pens. The refillable, metal-body, multi-color, triple-price pens. And yet I always come back to these. The BIC Cristal Xtra Smooth in black is just it — the ride-or-die pen of my desk, bag, and nightstand.They write smooth as hell, no skipping, no weird blobs, no cap drama. Just clean, crisp lines every time. Ink flow is consistent, and the black is a nice rich tone — not that faded gray nonsense. Also: they’re lightweight, comfortable, and somehow feel nostalgic and professional at the same time.This is the pen I reach for without thinking. Reliable, cheap, weirdly satisfying to click into the cap. Honestly? Pen perfection.

These pens are very nice, they work nice and they are cheap. They are durable and easy to use.

At 67 it is nice to remember that these were the pens of the day in the 1960's. I have an affinity for pens but when I saw these on line I had to have them. They are good pens and BIC was always synonymous with good writing. I am going to buy some for my grand niece and nephew to see if I can keep some of the old Americana alive. These pens came as good as I remember from back in the day. Now I need the red ones.

Paid $1.62 for TEN ball point pens. Got what I expected from them. They do the job for just basic, daily note taking. Didn’t expect Montblanc or Aurora Diamanté for this price. Would buy again.
