Hawaii Five-O (2010): The Ninth Season

Other than being hard to follow because the episodes are out of order it's great

Love this series. Bit disappointed that on the last disk the last two episodes are mixed up and are put out of order. I had to go online to verify this. (Episode 25 is listed in episode 24's spot and Episode 24 is in episode 25's spot on the episode menu)Makes me wonder if every version of Season 9 is this way or just my copy.

#1 : I really dislike Scott McCann's "Danny", this season being especially annoying.. I wish the writer's would rewrite "Danny" as "Steve's" complement rather his annoyance.#2 : whoever put the video discs together REALLY messed up😡.. The very last episode came BEFORE the second to last in order on the disc.. Therefore, you're watching "previously on Hawaii 5-O" wondering "what?" -- only to discover on the LAST installment what the "previous" was.. Argh!#3 : The action is really amped down, with McGarrett sitting out alot of action sequences; understandable if the series wishes to keep Alex as the lead man while he doesn't do himself harm (as he has done in the past while doing his own stunts and fight sequences)..Don't get me wrong.. I still love Hawaii 5-O, it's just not a much as I used to

OF YOU LIKED THIS GOOD OLD TV SHOW THEN YOU SHOULD BUY THIS GOOD BOX SET. AND I'AM HAPPY WITH MY ORDER.

First, the reviewers who said that the last two episodes were swapped on the DVD are correct. It's a bit jarring.Second, I found the writing to be weaker than in the past. It seemed like every episode was a "let's do it again" replay of something familiar, such as the original McGarrett's plunge in the cocoon. The gun episode was also from the original series. There was a parade of past co-stars. There were lots of human-interest side stories about family fights, make-ups, and almost-makeups. The new kids did OK. The technical aspects contained more "magical" shortcuts than Harry Potter did. (No you can't free-dive to 140 meters.) Overall, the writing was kind of... thin.

I like the show, but I think there are a couple episodes missing...

One of the best seasons of H5-0, BUT, they’ve got the last two episodes switched around. It’s very, VERY upsetting to get to the end of the second to last episode, get stuck on this really great cliffhanger, click play on the last episode, AND THEN REALIZE THAT YOU JUST WATCHED THE LAST EPISODE. Ugh. I want my money back, just because of the disappointment I had to endure.

Listing says Region B however plays fine in US region also is in English which was not listed as language option in listing so all is great!!!!
