We adopted Rory, an ~7 month old Labrador/Raptor mixed breed about a month ago, and he is sweet as can be, but the boy needs to get his chew on! Our home is now largely populated by the fluff of dismembered stuffies and scraps of cardboard given to the beast, but nothing soothes his cravings like this horn does! We first bought one for him about a week after adopting and realising that the plush and rope toys had unacceptably low life expectancies, and thought he enjoyed it about as much as the heavy rubber toys. All is well, still absolutely worth the ten quid (especially given that it's solid and doesn't really pose much if any risk as compared to rawhides or other bones and such). BUT Little did we realise just how much this wee horn was truly worth, until last week, when his favorite toy, the above pictured horn, went missing for approximately 48 hours. We honestly didnt pay much heed to it, figuring that it would show up eventually, and it wasn't until two nights later that I realised why our sweet boy had suddenly become a mouthy, insatiable wee monster! I sat bolt upright in bed, turned to my partner in awe, and voiced my theory. A prompt search of the premises followed, and the runaway was apprehended (under the bureau, naturally) and returned to its rightful owner, who immediately returned his chewy attentions to its tough keratin form, sparing our human forearms from further drool-covering nibbles and frustrations. So I thank you for this miraculous item, and we shall cherish its presence within our home for many months to come! ...and yeah, we definitely bought 2 more as soon as it was confirmed that yes, he was acting out for two days because he missed the comfort that this horn bought lol. If you have a young/adolescent doggo, especially a larger breed who needs to chew and gnaw, I cannot reccommend this highly enough!! Other relevant info: the pics with just the horn show how far he's managed to get through it in about a month of gnawing on it for 2-5 hours EVERY DAY. It's holding up incredibly well, while not really splintering so far as we've seen. It is very solid and heavy, so maybe not the best for a small dog or one who is likely to bite hard rather than chew/gnaw, but absolutely perfect for our labrador. Oftentimes he'll go so far as to bring it to myself or my husband and put it in our hand to make us hold it still for him haha

Fantastic purchase, our cocker spaniel loves her buffalo horn. Longer lasting and cheaper than the deer antlers we've had previously. It's quite big and heavy so took her a little while to work out how to pick it up and get her mouth round it but she soon sussed it out and it's now her go-to chew toy. She's been chewing on it daily now for over 3 weeks and it's no smaller than it was on day one. As an added bonus it also provides some excellent photo opportunities of our dog looking like she's smoking a pipe or playing a wind instrument.

Lasted longer than any I’ve bought before and well worth the money

I have ordered these 3 times now, I have 2 large breed very aggressive chewers and tried so many different chews that last 5 minutes. These last a couple of weeks and my dogs love them. Definitely recommend. And will continue to purchase.

Great for chewers but this one was a bit thin on one side so had to take it off him because of broken sharp edges.

I'm forever looking for tough chews as my boy gets through any toy in minutes. This one has just arrived and it's very big, definitely worth the price. It's also solid, not hollow so I hope it'll last a while. We've had bull horns before but hollow ones and they'd split. Very good product.

​I purchased the Ace Antlers Buffalo Horn hoping for a durable chew for my dog, but unfortunately, it wasn't the right fit for us, leading to a 3-star rating. ​We bought the XL size, which we thought would be best at it would last longer, however that was our mistake, as it was simply too big for our Cockapoo. She couldn't get a proper grip on it or move it around, so she couldn't carry it or play with it effectively. ​However, aside from the sizing, the horn itself seemed impenetrable. It was incredibly dense and hard, and she made virtually no progress trying to chew it. ​The horn is clearly of high-quality, incredibly dense material, meaning it would likely be a fantastic, long-lasting chew for much larger, more powerful breeds that require extreme durability. If you have a large dog, this would likely hold up well, but for smaller or less aggressive chewers, it's just too hard.

i ordered the XL size for my staffie and she loves it. super long lasting and tough as well as being natural.
