Just received this and it was delivered really quickly. I have set it up using filtered water...about 1.5 litres. I soaked the jellyfish in separate bowl of hot water with a few drops of washing-up liquid first, and then gave them a good rinse with plain water, before putting in the tank. I pushed them down gently and got rid of as many bubbles off them that I could. If they have bubbles on them they won't swim properly. Instructions are on the box and in small leaflet inside. Switched it on and the jellyfish are swimming around perfectly, slowly going up and down and around. I was worried they would whizz round too fast but they go around gently and look natural. The lamp is silent, unlike some I have heard about. The lamp stays on for about 4 hours before automatically switching off. Really pleased with it and it seems to be well made. can't wait till it gets dark to see the full effect of the lights. I have also registered the item with the manufacturer online for peace of mind. Thoroughly recommend. Edit : Had it about a fortnight and can now hear the pump slightly. You would hear it if the room is silent, but not if you have normal background noise. Also for some reason the small jellyfish won't swim any more and just stays at the bottom of the tank. It doesn't look damaged so I don't know the reason why. I'll try and get a replacement. I'm still very pleased with the lamp though. 2nd edit : I contacted seller ( High Light LED ) and they replied straight away. They have now sent me a complete new lamp. Exceptional service. I also asked if I could buy extra jellyfish, but unfortunately they're not sold separately.

Plus side: quiet, relaxing with the 2 jellyfish alone. Excellent choice of colours, red green, etc. Clear glass giving sharp views of jellyfish. Downside: quite small would have preferred a larger option. The 2 fish, while nicely designed, create mayhem alongside the 2 jellyfish. Gets quite busy with all 4 in there. Overall, keeping it as good addition to a room at night. Also, a good projection of colour onto the wall behind.

Fab. Small but decent. We used cooled, boiled water. The fish made it too cramped so just kept the jellyfish in. We washed the jellyfish using washing up liquid then rinsed before putting them in the tank and prodding them a few times with the provided prodder, to remove any air bubbles. A month in and it's still working good.

I brought this for my sons 6th birthday as he wanted a fish tank, easy to esemble just fill it with water, pop lid on & plug in! Power on with on/off button and press the button to the right for beautiful colours! The jellyfish look like they are dancing it's so soothing & therapeutic to watch, we all love it! However with the lid being easily available to take off & on I do have concerns he will be messing about with it haha. 5 stars & worth every penny

Waste of money tbh. I have seen the expensive one. This one jelly get stuck at top constantly and it doesn't look like it's worth over £25. Expected far better. When they blow it doesn't look realistic because they go upside down, they do correct themself. Also like to point that they don't look real they look like cut up plastic bag where the expensive one I think is silicone. Simply put no way is it worth the money they are asking for. It probably cost them £2.5 to make if that. Edit I can see it looks far better at night. We have it for our daughter who loves it. Just like to point out that it doesn't make any noise. Don't know why others said it's noisy? One I have is very silent. Blue light is best and really shines up the jellyfish making it more realistic. Adding a couple drops of washing up liquid helps so they don't stick and using one chopstick the next day tapping the jellyfish helps remove any more bubbles so the don't stay to the top. Why verdict still stands that it's overpriced but my daughter loves it and we use it as a night light.

Extremely easy to set up! Remember & pop 2/3 drips of washing up liquid in water before you add fish & Octopi. The product is tested in factory so some water marks inside but they do not show when filled. It’s almost silent when in use too so that’s a bonus, I hate buzzing in the background. It’s 100% value for money so much so I’m ordering another one for my kitchen. It’s also a lot stronger than I expected. Please remember this is NOT A TOY! Water & electricity don’t mix ⚡️.

I can't say enough good about this jelly fish lamp. The motor is quiet. Its nice that it plays a bunch of different sounds. Sleepy time songs, nature sounds, and white noise. The led colors are bright and vivid. You can connect your phone and play music through it via Bluetooth. Amazing addition to my 8 year old daughters bedroom. The motor is powerful and the fish go up and down nicely. The size is about 13 inches tall. Made very well.

My students love this thing so much. I love that I can pick different colors to light up the tank. The assembly was easy but make sure to use distilled water for the best floating of the fish or jelly fish. I use these jellyfish in mine and they move just like they are real. I have had several people come in wanting one or asking if they are real.
