I wanted a pair of nice wooden chopsticks that I could use with sushi, Chinese, and all Asian dishes. Because it's just 'me' I didn't need an entire set. But it's great when I do go out with friends I can bring my own. The case is awesome! Easy to open/close. You can pick up very small grains of rice, larger pieces of your sushi rolls and is never slippery. I like how they are tapered on the end, Japanese style. If a person has never used chopsticks before not sure if this would be their best bet though.

Great wooden chopsticks. Very easy to hold. Good, smooth wooden feeling that washes very easily. Case is a nice feature as well.
