I have found that in the charismatic movement, many are taught about their authority in Christ but are clueless when it comes to actual practicality of implementing Christ's authority against the enemy. So like the "Seven sons of a Jewish high priest named Sceva..." (Acts 19:13 &14), these untrained Christians walk into a viper's nest and get their rear-ends handed to them and have NO CLUE as to why! If you have a military background it's obvious and FatherGod's army is no exception. There is moral character (like self-control) that has to be build before you are given authority over anyone or anything else. There is procedures, prerequisites, and priorities that must be clearly defined before engaging in any warfare whether spiritual or physical in order to WIN. This book explains in very practical terms how to win at Spiritual Warfare. In case you do not know Derek died 12 years ago (in 2003). However, D.P. Ministries did a great job on this book.I am actually reviewing this book for two people, my wife and myself. She loved it and still talks about it.This book gives us a great overview on the Christian life and how we are constantly being tested and tried in our walk with the Lord, and HOW TO OVERCOME. The promises in the Book of Revelation are TO the overcomers, not to those who are overcome.God's goal for everyone of us is to be conformed into the IMAGE of Jesus, to be Holy as He is holy and to walk in righteousness.
