Great blanket for a Notre Dame fan. I spent 2 years going back and forth with this blanket due to the mixed/poor reviews. I was scared the colors would be drab or that the picture wouldn't be correct. And since nobody had posted a photo of their blanket, I was concerned. But I took the leap and I'm glad I did. My bf will LOVE this blanket.Pros: Looks great. Really represents the team and any fan would be proud to display. Bright colors.Cons: Very thin material. More decorative than useful. Sort of stiff as opposed to soft. (This may get softer after a few washes). Has a smell when first opened but that fades over time.

We got this as a gift for my father in law, he went to Clemson and he loves EVERYTHING Clemson. When he opened this up his eyes lit up. He absolutely loved it the moment he saw it. He kept looking at it and even hugged it. On top of that the blanket is very thick and warm. It's a very good quality blanket and after they washed it, it was still very soft. He was so excited that it is now a staple at my inlaws living room. Now that football season is starting up again he has it with him on the couch while watching the games. If you have someone who is a big college football fan they will love this. It's nice enough and a good quality that it doesn't distract from a nice living room either.

Super Nice Colors But Not Too Soft--The gift was for my 7-Year old granddaughter's birthday--She is a Huge Ole Miss Fan and absolutely was excited to receive it.

I love this throw. It was a post-Christmas gift for myself... and I've enjoyed naps and decorating (imagine a PSU Elf Hat laying on the throw over my side of the couch so that the hat sat upon the Nittany Lion Shrine's head). Your alma mater might have a similar throw to remind you of your days on campus too!
