Sturdy. Well made. The 'cup' of the holder is large enough to hold a variety of pipe sizes. From something as small as a broom handle to something as large as the narrow end of a baseball bat. Now, the smaller sizes are not able to be clamped in place and more or less just sit in the 'cup', and that is what I did. However, I don't recall a time when I lifted the shower curtain pipe up and out of the holder. Overall, works well and installed just fine. I am happy with it.

We purchased these to hold a custom shower curtain rod. My husband had to modify them with a few holes, a nut and a bolt. But they do the job.

The tension shower curtain rod in the bathroom used by my children was constantly being pulled out of alignment, leaving the curtain and liner dragging on the floor / tub, and scratching the walls.
