Yellowstone: Season 2

I have to admit that I am hooked on Yellowstone. Costner has himself a hit western though it is set in modern days. Like a classic horse opera, I can't list all of the things wrong with this thing. I wondered why I liked it so much. Violent, overly simplistic, dumb at times, and full of pithy sayings, it has more than its share of flaws. But, then it has Jimmie who will keep you laughing. Rip is the loner with a heart of gold and fists of steel. Beth is the trashy saloon girl though she is the rancher's daughter. Costner plays a man so dumb that he doesn't know why he even bothers to save his ranch. One son is the darling that keeps shooting everybody. The other is the halfway villainous lawyer that everybody hates. Everybody else is a villain. No good guys in this one. Did I mention the actual minutes working a cow ranch? They are worth their weight in gold. I would watch it just to see the cowboys roping a steer. Yes, indeed I am hooked and looking forward to season three.

This DVD is filled with pure awesome! It has something for the men and the women! Not made for children, but good television viewing at its finest for adults. Kevin Costner is outstanding as a Ranch owner, John Dutton. Cole Hauser is awesome in his role as Rip Wheeler who is John Dutton's right hand man! Luke Grimes plays Kayce Dutton, who is John Dutton's son and a ranch hand. Wes Bentley plays Jamie Dutton, who is John Dutton's son and an attorney and wants to be a politician and for now is helping out at the ranch. Kelly Reilly plays Beth Dutton, who is John Dutton's daughter and Rip Wheeler's love interest. Beth is not intimidated by any man or woman and man does she put people in their place! Good cast, good storyline, not old time western it is more of a modern day western with lots of action and adventure. The eye candy in this show does not disappoint either!

Both seasons one and two are so wonderful! After watching the series on just regular TV...I could NOT get enough and just HAD to buy the "uncut version , minus all those commercials(lol)...I was NOT disappointed! There is so "much more detail and you get to "understand more" about each character...what "makes them tick, especially "Beth" and even "Jamie"...Whats behind their "love hate sibling relationship...And Rip..."OMG! what a man!...rough on the outside, but caring and tender....I actually got "so involved" in the story...I would feel my heart hurt at times....I even would "re see the story in my dreams going to sleep that night I would watch a few episodes...lol...So much Depth...This IS A CLASSIC...BUY IT!...I am just hoping that after 2 GREAT seasons, the writer/producer doesn't mess up as so many "other TV series that went past season 2 did(example, the "Nashville series")...I believe this to be "one of the BEST Kevin Costner productions...He "just gets better and better with age!" Buy it!

Great series

Love this show!!! I am familiar with the Montana territory and beautiful scenery.The cast and crew have done an excellant job. For those not familiar, it's a modern western shot in Utah and various parts of Montana. It tells a story - one of history of the real west. It's packed full of ever changing events in the life of the Dutton Family & their Ranch which borders Yellowstone National Park.It's got a little of everything for everyone in it. If you like westerns, adventure, drama, action then Yellowstone is for you. It's a series that captures your every sense from one time to another throughout. There are also some dreamy cowboys to boot!! It's for mature audiences and includes some language, sex, and nudity.

I missed this season and was so happy to be able to buy it here on Amazon! It's my new favorite show!

It’s another DVD of Yellowstone I just love buying any of the movies off of Amazon they always have such a reasonable price is in good quality so these are all Blu-rays and actually reasonably priced compared to the stores

A really well written series that just keeps getting better as the story and enemies of John Dutton appear on the scene. I have memorable comparisons with Dallas of old. The sibling rivalry is great.

Beste Serie die ich seit langen gesehen habe, vielleicht kommt sie mal nach Deutschland, aber so lange konnte ich nicht warten.
