Premium Heavy-Duty Smoker Cover for Pit Boss 4 Series / 5 Series Vertical Pellet Smoker 73040

Fit well, pretty well constructed. Better than a 60 buck from Pit Boss, and Lowe's didn't carry the cover, although the 4 is a Lowes exclusive

Leaks right out of the gate. It is leaking around the exhaust tube at the top. Not durable either. The plastic Pit Boss emblem on the front actually punctured a hole in the front of the cover as I was putting it on. In fact, the onlly good point of this cover is that it fits the smoker well. I do not know what the actual Pit Boss cover is like, but it was only about $20 more. I am more disappointed with the leaking. This defeats the purpose entirely.

This cover is not waterproof. The description says it is. But the first rain we had since I bought it leaked through and puddled on top of my smoker. I'm not happy about this. After all, I didn't buy a cheap cover. Seems to be leaking around the chimney. Appears to be a stitching issue. I should have covered it with a plastic tarp and saved myself $40. Honestly the cover is better looking than a tarp.Update 6/26: I just put the replacement cover from Amazon on my smoker. If I don't update again soon, it means this cover is doing its job and I'm a happy cook.

As a consumer, it is important to me that I get the most for my hard earned dollar. I shopped several big box stores and on line for the cover for my Pit Boss 4 Series Vertical Pellet Smoker in order to protect it from the elements. My research lead me to the Cloakman site where the cover is much the same (except for the logo) as the PB cover at nearly half the price. The quality of the fabric is very heavy duty and fits perfectly. The added feature of the Velcro strips for the bottom legs was a plus as well. They strap around the legs of the smoker and keep the cover in place. SOLD! Thank you Cloakman!

I've used multiple covers for different smokers without tearing or ripping, so I know how to carefully put covers on. This one ripped at the seam the second time I put it on. Exceedingly disappointed. Now I have to either duct-tape it back together or find some super-duty fabric glue because I can't leave my Pit Boss uncovered since it sits outside.

fit was perfect! appears to be quite durable. like the velcro straps. was quite a bit better value than the factory one.

Other than being named after a knock off superhero you can't go wrong. Fits well and seems to be made with good materials. My smoker lives on a covered deck so I can't speak for sun exposure, but it protects my investment from driving rain and general grime.
