FYI, I found that an airplane neck pillow (a very squishy one) works better because the center opening is bigger, the whole pillow is bigger to support your whole head and it is thicker on one side which makes the section by your ear less invasive. **Q: Is there a pillow case available for this item?** A: I don't know because I returned this item--it was too large for my needs. Can’t do the whole night on one side either. I bought this one first but it felt a little too stiff. I bought a softer one but the hole is too small so I’m back to the first one. I wish it was a bit bigger because it feels like there is too much pressure just in front of my ear. But I like the size of the opening, I do not use a pillow case because I can’t have anything touch my ear yet.
