Answer: It is a GREAT product! It is so well designed down to every last detail, is so easy use, SUPER easy to clean (I thought beets might stain the white plastic, but no!), and it is FUN!I left it in the box for several days after it arrived because I thought it might take a while to learn how to use. I should have opened it the first day. It is SO simple, I use it at least three times a week. I am VERY happy with it. It transforms vegetables so that the texture is completely different from any other way of preparing them. The flavor is more distributed throughout the dish. I have made great pasta dishes, both by using pasta and by using just the zucchini as the pasta. Unbelievably delicious, just by cutting the vegetables a different way!How happy I am with the WonderVeg itself is just the beginning of the great experience I have had. The founder of the company followed up with me to make sure I was happy with it and, over a couple of emails over various features of the WonderVeg was just as kind and helpful as possible. I mildly wish it had a couple more blade options... but I went with the customer service claims, and the overall value package for the price and am very happy with this spiralizer! Having started out with one of the hand held versions, to try out spiral veggie noodles... I had decided to get serious about making 'noodles' from my squash varieties coming out of our garden this summer. We have about 8 hours of use in on this in the last month doing just that and it works at the A+ level. Well designed, sturdy, easy to clean, adheres to smooth laminate counter top very well and the blades are not showing any sign of fadiing. I expect we will get MANY, MANY years of use out of this.The only thing I wish I could improve is working with the larger squash and zuchinni - the presser lever is only on one side and is awkward to use. Once I get half way through, I am able to hook it with my thumb and 'glide it along leveraged with the brace that holds the blade and that works more comfortably for me... but I do have a good hand span just from being good sized and also from playing piano most of my life. Not sure that is a good alternate 'grasp' for many other people. , ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars But it works! *by J***8 on Reviewed in the United States on January 26, 2016* Initially I gave this 3 stars. The thing is, the more I tinker with it, the more pleased I am! So, I'll get the negative out of the way first. If it were made of any cheaper materials, I'm not sure it would work. Other than the metal blades, it's made of lightweight plastic throughout. The crank mechanism is wobbly. There is a handle on the main frame the purpose of which is to hold onto, in order to keep the machine from moving around and help apply pressure while you crank, but I personally found that to be very awkward. WonderEsque thoughtfully includes a set of spare parts, (the crank mechanism) most likely because those are the parts that will go first - they seem so flimsily manufactured. The feet, made of a rubbery material, are supposed to suction, but while they help somewhat in keeping the contraption from scuttling across your counter, they don't really suction...even when your counter is dry, as is required.On the positive side, it works! It is very easy to figure out, very easy to assemble, very easy to use (aside from my fear that it was going to break) and very easy to clean! The blades store away nicely on the underside and the spare parts come in a handy bag. As soon as it arrived I made lunch, a delicious concoction of spiralized zucchini, spiralized yellow squash, spiralized onion, green and black olives, sweet red, yellow, and orange peppers, tomatoes, olive oil, vinegar, garlic, seasonings...Yum! Spiralizing seems to make the squash really tender and juicyI only wish it was sturdier. Sadly, they lose two stars for that lack. However, since they have a One Year Guarantee, I'll give them a star back. Considering the price I paid vs the prices of others I've looked at, if it lasts a year, I'll be very happy! The overall design of the machine is quite clever. I guess my only gripe is that crank.
