Review: Good solid hearing protection - Having used in ear plugs for more years than I care to remember, I decided that I would take the plunge and invest in some over ear noise cancelling ear defenders. These do the job just fine and for a fraction of the cost of buying the Honeywell or 3M equivalents. Quality looks good and the case protects them when not in use. Comfort is good as is sound quality. We will see how they fair after 6 months
Review: Great budget friendly option - Bought these after starting at a rifle club. Used for the first time today. For the price these exceeded my expectations. They worked brilliantly with noise of the .22LR rifles being used. With the electronics making it easy to hear everything being said around me. I did note that that they amplify higher frequencies more than lower frequencies which works well when used for shooting, but does make some sounds (like clicking sounds when loading the rifle) louder compared to the ambient sound than would experience without them. They were comfortable for the time I used them. Was pleased to see that they were supplied with good quality batteries meaning they could be used immediately.

**Q: Can ypu fit these to a fast helmet with adapters?**
A: Maybe - but you'd have to be careful you didn't damage the wire that connects the ear protectors that runs along the head band.

**Q: Would these work to protect my ears playing loud instruments like drums?**
A: I'm not sure... these are designed for shooting. They allow you to hear conversations very clearly but reduce sudden loud noises, ie a gunshot down to 82Db (claimed). I don't know how they'd react to continuous loud drum playing. I've seen electronic ear-plugs specifically for musicians on Amazon though which may be worth you looking at.

**Q: Where can I buy a double-ended lanyard to hang my Awesafe ear defenders round my neck?**
A: Look for binoculars strap. And you can just use a key ring loop at either end

**Q: Has anybody noticed a kind of "ticking" sound every 0.5s or so?**
A: I have. Seems to be cheap electronics or poor connection.
