𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆...A great alternative to "smart" bulbs for people who have a life.𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲...I received a few Lenovo Smartbulbs that were bundled with their smart clock. Setting these bulbs up for Google Home was an involved process but not complicated. We enjoyed the ability to control the brightness, color, and "temperature" of white.Things worked well for a while until there was an issue between Google Home and Lenovo's smart device servers. During that time, we were unable to control the lights (kitchen island) via Google Assistant or Google Home. We COULD control them via the Lenovo Link app but only with the Android version of the app. (the iOS version had login problems)These are just light bulbs. I shouldn't have to spend time troubleshooting why I can't adjust the brightness. If internet access goes out (an extremely rare occurrence) we'd be just as stuck.It was then that we decided to search for bulbs that offered some variety that we enjoyed with these smart bulb but without the added complexity.𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗯𝘀...These bulbs had a relatively high brightness, provided some control over brightness and color... all without the need for an internet connection.We purchased the 2-pack. The package included 2 bulbs and 2 remotes. Because we have both bulbs over our kitchen island we only need one remote, but it is nice to have a spare.We're impressed with the options available with these bulbs though some, like the strobe, don't seem too practical.There are 3 levels of brightness for the "white" setting. They serve the purpose but it would've been nice to have more levels available. Not a show-stopper.There is a mode where the bulbs fade from one color to another. It is possible to slow the transition down so that it is subtle. Not very practical, but fun... and an option we find ourselves using more than we thought.We've had the bulbs less than a week so we can't speak about the longevity, but they seem well-made and look forward to them having a long life.𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗯𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿...These bulbs aren't for everyone. If you're into the whole smart home scene, then you'll be disappointed that these bulbs can't be controlled remotely if you're outside of the house, nor can they be controlled by voice/smart assistants.But, if you'd like a little something-something more than plain white bulbs without the complexity or hassle of configuring smart bulbs, then these are a great option.

I keep buying more and more of these. I've yet to have issue though I hear that others have and perhaps it's where yo put them. I have them in track lights. I keep finding more features in the remotes - flashes of colors and strobes of colors that are adjustable. The remote is great and they make for great party lights as well as fine white lights. I think a lot of folks don't realize you can turn up and down the lights (and off) with the remotes and that the strobe features you can speed up and slow down. Once you set a feature, like color strobing or color drifting, when you turn off then turn on all the lights they stay in synch if you have them set for the same speed which is pretty incredible. Perhaps they burn out if they overheat in a small fixture? That's not how I'm using them and so far so good. One remote works all the lights. I think these are cool beyond belief. I wish there were a smaller DC version I could use as yard lights that used the same remote. My latest feature is the purple-pink shifting colors for a party spate. Supercool. The picture I've included is my attempt at rainbow flag coloring using approximately 12 bulbs in 4 track lights.

Exactly what I wanted -- these bulbs can be left in my garage door outside light fixtures -- the plain white button gives you three levels of brightness and are bright enough to light up the garage entrance -- there are enough color and mode selections that you can switch settings for different occasions -- the strobe feature can flicker at different speeds -- could be useful if visitors are coming and they know to look for the flashing lights -- one of the colors look slightly pink so you could announce a baby's Gender with the blue or pink -- the blue is dark enough to use them to show respect to First Responders -- two remotes only work on a single bulb each and have to be very close to the bulb so each bulb can be set individually -- if these would ever fail, I will buy again unless a similar set at a higher brightness becomes available

The bulbs work properly with the remote. They are very bright in their default warm-white color, so the "85 watt equivalent" is true for that color. However, when you use one of the other colors, or one of the color-changing modes, the bulb is not nearly as bright. I think it's still worth the money but, if you were expecting bright purples or oranges or whatever, keep in mind that they won't be as bright as you expect.

these lightbulbs are super cute and fun. I have them in all my lamps around the house. The remote it's easy to use so you can easily go from a yellow or white light to fun colors to match the holidays or seasons.

I had ordered a set of four. Only 3 worked. I reached out to customer service and they handled it in a quick, professional manner. I am very please with these bulbs. Nice and bright! Great remote! Thanks again!

Well made with several solid colors and fading in and out like blue to green, everything in between and back to blue. I got 8 more after I bought the initial 4.

Cool color change and the remote is great

I love these, so easy to use. They help create a beautiful atmosphere to our gatherings or just a calming experience for my meditation and yoga.

I really love these bulbs. The many colour options and hues is great fun.My only complaint, they can be finicky when trying to shut them off. Sometimes you have to stand right at the lamp.The reason could be the longer you have them, they start to lose their steam.One more thing.. I've had my precious bulbs for over 2 years. One completely stopped turning on with the remote but you van still use it as a regular bulb. Win-win! 😊
