More than a review - what you need to know...
What this is:a CO2 powered revolver with 5-78 inch rifled barrel capable of shooting BB's and .177 pelletsit has an adjustable rear sight (both windage and elevation)it came with two magazines - one 10 shot pellet mag, and one 6 shot BB magIt can shoot as a single- and dual-action (obviously more accurate as a single-action)I can easily get 60-70 shots from a single 12gm CO2 cartridge at room tempI've been more accurate with .177 wadcutters (my favorite flavor is RWS 7 grain - more flyers with basic green - almost none with R10)But for every day plinking - I reach for the popular/cheaper Crosman 'premier' hollow point that I can find cheaper locally along with my 40 pack of CO2Five shot average trigger pull was 4lb 11.2oz (single action) and 6lb 14.9oz (dual action)(if you want an awesome trigger - the only thing better is the Beeman P17 at 1lb 14oz but is a workout between shots)Steel rifled barrel is about 5-7/8 inches in length (buy this for shooting pellets and throw out the BB magazine - BB's will eventually wear down your rifling)What you should get if you buy this:2 packs of 'Crosman 407T 10 round pellet magazines' - gives you just enough shots for a single CO2 carthttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002IL6TYCrosman Pelgun oil - use a single drop on top of a CO2 cartridge (maybe every other, or every 3rd cart)At home, I have mine tipped up on it's end in a cheap 8 oz glass mug with the black lid up ... anytime this stuff is laying on its side or inside one of my airgun bags ... I keep it inside a ziplock bag because it's bound to leakhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002IL6M6Feyachi PL-31 laser light - has a single screw that is perfect for the front/under picatinny - lighter than a red dot and allows you to still practice with iron sightshttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08KVX2VSTWhat this is NOTIt's not a super precise Olympic style air pistol (the kind that costs $2000 and requires a PCP pump)The nearly 5 lb trigger pull makes it difficult to pull off those kinds of shotsEven with the pistol on a shooting bag, I found it hard to get sub 3/4 inch groups at 3-4 yards with most of my pellet collectionTo get the best consistency - you need to take a 30-60 second pause between shots to let the CO2 cart equalizeTry this sometime - stick your CO2 cart in the fridge for a few hours - see how many low power shots you can get (I got over 100-120 from a single cart) - this will work better with 10 second pauses since each shot will 'chill' the cart, and reduce the swings in velocity observed with rapid shooting from a warm cartI can usually keep most shots inside 1-1/2 inches from 3-5 yards with occasional flyers (depending on shot count and quality of pellets used)Also - let it be known - this purchase was received 3rd week of Sep 2023 and probably has about 400-500 rounds thru it (Now 2nd week Nov 2023)I have had NO ISSUES with the plastic grips (used to swap CO2) or the barrel lock (used to swap magazines)some advice - keep a mental shot count with each magazine, avoid opening the barrel lock or spinning the magazine between shots; AND REMOVE YOUR CO2 WHEN NOT IN USE TO PROTECT YOUR SEALSThis is a great 'stay at home' trainer/plinker for the garage/basement...Make yourself a 'quiet' plastic/rubber back stop from a 5gal black tough bin filled with locally acquired shredded rubber mulch; in the snap on lid - cut out an opening that is smaller than 8-1/2 x 11; print out targets from online (print targets dot net) - or use cardstock with dot or star stickers; sometimes you can use a flattened 12 pack of soda to be a disposable retention layer in front of the mulch and just keep swapping your target paper; Place the back stop on it's side (top facing you) up on a TV tray/bar stool and practice whenever you get that trigger itch.

Used for a bug a salt blaster / shreadder
The reason I purchased this was I found out the bug a salt cartridges for their shredder work in this air gun. They want like 129.00 for the bug a salt shredder . I seen that this frame and that one are the same. The shredder does have a bit longer barrel but those salt shooters are only good for a few feet anyway. So, why would I spend 129.00 on a bug a salt shredder that is yellow and orange that only shoots salt ?. I didn’t , I got this and can shoot bb’s , pellets and the salt cartridges. This also looks like a pistol , not a yellow and orange toy. A few things to note , this barrel is steel , the bug a salt is plastic barreled . Salt plus steel / metal = fast rusting. If you use the salt cartridges, I suggest cleaning / oiling this barrel after using , just like a real pistol. If not , it will rust fast , I mean in a few days fast . Keep it cleaned and swabbed if using salt !!! If not , you barrel will rust fast . If having trouble with the salt cartridges not cycling or spinning , first make sure one of the salt holes in lined up with the barrel . If that doesn’t work , I use a small washer or two and insert it before putting in the bug a salt cartridges. I’ve found those cartridges have glue under the paper to hold the salt , sometimes they seem to have to much glue and won’t let the cylinder rotate . Putting in the small washer gives it room to rotate the cylinder and not jam up . I hope this helps anyone who not only wants a great bb / pellet gun but can also have a great bug a salt gun . Believe me , blasting flys , wasps, hornets , yellow jackets , etc with those salt cartridges is more fun than I’ve had since getting the full auto Crosman years ago . One more thing , the replacement bug a salt cartridges for the shredder are about 12.00 for I think 12 cartridges holding 10 salt shot each . They say these are not reusable and you need to buy new cartridges every time . This is not true , several videos on the tube showing you how you can reload them , don’t throw them away … Apologies for the rant about this bug a salt thing but I want everyone to know what other things this co2 pistol can do , you will thank me later , it’s a freaking blast , a mini salt shooting shot gun !!,, Limited to a few feet but no need to worry much about what’s beyond the target . It will tear up some pesky insects !!!!
