That Awkward Moment [Blu-ray]

One of my favorite movies!!

Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan and Zac Efron....I mean, do I need to say more? I love the way the 3 of them play off of each other in this lighthearted romantic comedy. I like that there's comedy, there's a little drama and some romance. Everything I want in a movie!

comedy, romance, guy crap.. all rolled into one. great movie to watch. you can actually feel the bond of friendship between the guys. the way the female leads handle them with ease is great (wife made me say it). overall just real good funny movie to watch. just don't eat any yams while watching (you'll understand when you watch).

Im not sure what people's problem with the comedy or vibe of the movie. I have moments like these all the times where something happens and you just make the best of the situation. This movie for someone in their early 20s felt real and very personal. The fear of dating and falling and love and feeling like you cant enjoy time with your buddies anymore or live your life. This movie brings up a real fear of losing that excitement when you go out with your friends. This movie was very personal to me and maybe thats the issue with some of the reviews is youre either past this time or its long forgotten so the comedy and humor isnt hitting home like it does for us younger folk. I love this movie and Miles Teller and think the three guys together were fantastic and the humor and fear and love moments were spot on.Good movie good buy haved watched a dozen times already!

Three guys playing with Viagra, oh that's awkward alright, man! I like the idea of friends supporting each other when heartbreak kicks somebody's ass, but staying single in a half-assed way kinda makes it hard to trust. I get that for Zac it was to change his image by having him swear and do sex scenes, but if that did something good for his career I need someone to point it out for me. The key to exclusive areas of the park didn't seem that esquire in my mind, oh well. I like the blond girl, the dress up party outfit was ridiculous, but the joke about "it's a cocktail" actually made me laugh out loud, so I'm not gonna complain too much. The moments when the characters cared about each other were really pretty cool, and everyone was believable performance wise (aka, good acting) and I like how Miles Teller talked about being the same height as his girl so their bodies line up right, I'm 5'8" and wish I was even and eye to eye with the right guy... All in all, the movie wasn't too bad, just leave out the Viagra, or don't try that at home? How about don't text or use Viagra when driving, is that acceptable? It's definitely not advisable. You fall in love much better without it.

My buddy and I do The Greatest Lie with Pete & Taylor podcast and we give one another movies that we enjoy that the other hasn’t seen.Now, we agree with one another when it comes to comic films but otherwise Taylor is into chick flicks and I’m into action movies and such so we unwittingly punish one another to laugh during the next podcast.This was his challenge to me. To my surprise I really enjoyed it! Miles Teller, Zac Efron and one of my favorite actors Michael B Jordan really made this a good time! Good chemistry, great laughs. It was somewhat cliche and predictable but glad I watched it.

Three friends vow to stay single and make the most of it after one of them finds out his wife had filed for divorce after an affair, with her lawyer no less. I was so impressed with the acting of these three characters, Miles Teller in particular, who convinced me they were massive jerks!! As expected though, each guy meets a girl and the vow becomes more difficult to keep.I did enjoy this movie despite reading lots of negative reviews. And I can totally see where these reviewers are coming from. These characters are portrayed as really awful guys, who have lists of "booty calls" and it appears that's about as far as their affections for women goes. But that's the point I think. Over the course of the movie they change dramatically, and I guess that's the message the producers are going for. What I didn't like so much was the way it was portrayed that women always want more from men, when that's not always the case, and I think this has annoyed a lot of viewers. This lessens significantly after the first half an hour though as the movie progresses.I liked the comedy more than the alleged romance of this movie. In fact, if you're after a stereotypical rom-com then I don't think this will float your boat. It leans more towards Sex and the City from the guys point of view in my opinion, with awkward dates and chat up lines, and I found this to be a really witty spin on things. I have to admit, the outtakes were probably the funniest parts though!I don't think this is an amazing movie, and I'll probably never watch it again, but it was funny in a dirty comedy sort of way and easy to watch so I'd recommend it to people looking for that sort of thing. Much of the humour isn't PG rated though so something to keep in mind for younger viewers and if you're looking for a romance then this isn't for you.

I enjoyed this film seeing first time on Netflix. Especially well cast and some funny and sweet moments from a well directed script. There is no doubt that Zac Efron has a lot of charm - don't miss 'The Lucky One' - and is able to comfortably head a film. End.

Very funny, different take in this genre. A very good watch with a superb cast - well worth the price.

Bought a 2nd hand copy but received a brand new, still in it's package copy, well pleased!

Didn't like this film. It wasn't what I expected, so I returned this item and got a refund. This wasn't my sort of film to watch
