Inncorrect Model listed -- Please take note this is a Maxxum 70/SC
I have been a MinnKota fan for many years and my rating does not reflect on the quality of the product or the Amazon service that I received. The unit listed is a Model Maxxum 70 with Digital Maximizer but when it arrived I quickly noticed that I received the Maxxum 70/SC which is the same system but without the Digital Maximizer feature. (big deal if you want to extend time on the water between charges) This item is listed wrong and should be changed to the 70/SC model to prevent futher confusion. Not a big deal and easy to see how a couple of letters are missed on the model #. Here is a link to the MinnKota product description page showing the model and feature listings for comparison. [...]In typical Amazon fashion I was assisted by Linda I to get the proper unit on it's way and the other model sent back. Can't say enough about the quality of customer care given by the Amazon team. It is great to see folks given the authority to make a judgement call and get the customer taken care of. HUGE...... That is why Amazon is my #1 shopping resource and also why I am a happy Amazon Prime customer!!!! Amazon with all their great service is just getting too big to handle simple resolutions to a simple error.

Wanted variable speed, got 5 speed.
Beware. It's really tough to know what version you are getting. Only realized it after it was 90% installed. Thought I could live with it, now after using it, I'm not happy.
