Joie Onion Saver – Purple Onion Storage Pod with Clear Lid for Fridge, BPA-Free & Dishwasher Safe, Keeps Onions Fresh

This is brilliant. It twists on and off with ease. It keeps the smell of onions inside so it doesn't stink out the fridge. It is a cute design (although I think a handle we can properly grab might have been better but I appreciate the idea of it looking like an onion). I imagine this will last a long time. It's big enough for a usual sized onion. I am going to recommend this to all of my onion loving friends.

The size is great, because it fits a big half or two small halves. It’s a bit of a struggle to open and close the pod, but it does keep the onion fresh for longer and keeps the smell out of my fridge

I almost returned as it was difficult to open. I just dropped some oil on the sides and it has been great ever since. Quite big for a single onion, so i also put in half cut tomatoes, bell peppers etc

Does exactly as it should. Keeps onions fresh with no smell leaking out into the fridge. Highly recommend

This great little onion shaped container is perfect for use in the fridge for storing a single onion. It keeps them fresh and so no waste. Many makes on the market but Joie Kitchen Gadgets are the best quality. A lot of the cheaper one don't last Looks good too!

I’ve had an onion storage pod for years but one fall out of the fridge too many and I was left looking for a new one. I wanted a silicone one (less likely to break) but reviews complained about not stopping the smell. So I decided on this one. I was gutted when it arrived and I couldn’t open it. My husband opened it first time but it didn’t work for me. After washing I used a small amount of coconut oil around the edge and it’s worked brilliantly since. I no longer need the oil apparently I was squeezing and twisting at the same time. Anyway it keeps the onion fresh and the smell out of the fridge.

Very handy and good quality

I have cut myself trying to open this thing, it’s like it’s superglued shut! I have to wait until my husband is home to see if he can open it, until then it won’t be doing any onion saving! However, I am a fair person, I will update my review to reflect the function of the item if I do manage to get it open.

I love these and have 2 of them. They most definitely keep my onions fresh and without smelling up my refrigerator. Highly recommend

Sent the wrong color.... But the pod itself is wonderful

The cover does not fit tight when it's closed. And the material is poor quality. It is NOT worth the price.
