The badger hair is the perfect mix of 'scrubby' to get under the beard, and soft, so that it maintains a great comfort on the face. It also happens to have (like most other Semogues) one of the best grips I've ever felt- it just seems to naturally fit the hand. Now for the kicker- this brush is priced about half of what the closest competitors is.
