This was a Christmas present, but I know he will like it.

Great starter book for the beginner of bees. Lots of useful information.

This is an easy read and is a good guide for a beginner. However, the grammar is poor, so you have to read some lines twice. The information given also assumes that you know what some bee terms mean and that can be confusing. More pictures of what is explained would be helpful. I suggest reading this first and then getting a book that's more in depth.

Not as thorough as I thought it would bee

Very poorly written. English is so fractured the concepts of the sentences are sometimes very diffifult to understand. Short, fractured ideas and concepts.

This book is nothing more than very basic information that I could have (and have) pulled from basic internet searches. Nothing in depth at all, just a very broad overview, as if written by someone who wanted to write a book about beekeeping without actually being a bee keeper.
