(It's also pretty cool.) *by V***E on Reviewed in the United States on June 13, 2015* Some specific notes are below, but overall, the watch works. It's comfortable, very light, an (unintentional) conversation starter, and it's received a slew of compliments.- This watch didn't come with a band as dark as the one indicated in the picture; mine showed up about the same shade as the bamboo itself. However, within a week, the patina developed to be darker than the bamboo, and it has continued to develop and change; I like that about leather. If you don't, then maybe shy away from this one.- No scratches so far. (I'm prone to wear and tear, but the sapphire glass has done it's job -- it's a flat surface, by the way.)- Tiny imperfections. I did a little inspection of the watch when it arrived, and the only "fault" I could find was that some dust was trapped where the glass was placed. It's not very obvious, and someone would have to looking to spot it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ No metal contact to cause issues. I have no idea what happened here but the price is way out of line.Original review 2016:I marked "I Love it" which I do .. but more importantly SHE loves it. My wife has a reaction to pretty much any metal that touches her skin. She's even blistered up wearing a FITBIT (which contains trace particles of nickel in the plastic band) - Not here - Its been working great! she wears it every day and she gets tons of compliments on it. It seems to keep good time. I asked my wife to tell me if there was anything negative she could add for the review. She said "Well its so comfortable I sometimes forget to take it off and then wake up with my face mashed against it." so there is that LOL... It is a little on the large side for her wrist but it just draws attention to it but doesn't detract from the watch. Its I nice "no metal contact" watch for a very reasonable price, if you've been thinking about it.. get it!!REVIEW UPDATE:: - After 2 years the battery just died - can't beat this watch its been great and still looks good though the leather (NOT PLEATHER) band is starting to show some wear. It has darkened a bit over time with body oils (which looks cool) but the place where the buckle latches is just starting to fray. Super value, great watch, couldn't ask for a better deal.. When I received my watch, I was very happy with the feel. The leather band felt very good, and it had a nice weight. However, I soon realized that my watch was defective, since the hour hand got stuck at the 6 position and would no longer tell time (although to be fair, it got the time right twice per day). I returned it as defective, and ordered another watch. The second watch I received was not from the same brand. It was much lower in quality, and the band was not made out of "genuine cow hide leather" as is said on the description, but instead from a cheap pleather.
