For peace of mind, I ordered this system. Installation was pain-free and quick, though setup on the device was a bit tricky due to the positioning of the display in the center stack of my 2013 Outback.Visibility is the worst part of this system, which is why I docked one star. The display is not very large, and based on the angle(s) that most 12V adapters offer, it's going to be a struggle to read the data. And if you wear polarized sunglasses, you will not be able to read the display at all.In hindsight, I likely would have gone with a system that is solar or USB-powered, to allow for flexibility in positioning the display. However, for the price and what I need it for, this system performs just fine. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ appears to be a great value for those wanting a tpms system, but; *by D***E on Reviewed in the United States on July 21, 2019* theirs always a but, right. this unit is replacing a blaupunkt tpms system which is totally overpriced. this tpms system showed up quickly and with just a bit of head scratching on setup was on the car in about an hour. the only concern i have is that when i went to peel the clear film off of the screen, the entire screen came off with the film. the adhesive around the screen was dry and i pressed the screen back in place and it seems to hold fine. it is not actually the lcd screen but the protective screen for the lcd. the unit powered up, connected within a minute and i am off and running and so far happy. ### ⭐ I guess it works. 🤷🏿‍♂️ *by S***L on Reviewed in the United States on October 31, 2019* I will be returning this product. Details below.I wanted this setup because my 4runner only tells you once your pressure it low. I needed more information on the fly. I decided to use this unit because it looked extremely straight forward. Installation was as expected, no surprises. I give it 5 stars for installation.Programming the unit for my needs wasnt really bad once I put myself and the unit in a position to be able to see the tiny screen, more on this later. Programming was quite simple once you read the instructions once. After that it wasnt complicated to understand.Now, let's talk visibility, IT SUX! The backlighting isnt effective at all, and if the sun is shining on it, it is useless. There is also the fact that the screen isnt centered, so some of the readouts are not able to be seen once I plug it into the 12v outlet. It is also lacking if you arent looking directly at it. Any angle that isnt direct view, isnt useful at all. Once you have it programmed as desired, the important information can be read, but it takes effort, and if in motion will require you to take your eyes off the road for 3 to 5 seconds.If you want a compact unit, this thing is that. Very small footprint. But I'd recommend getting a unit with a bigger screen that allows for seeing the numbers at a glance.The pressure readouts can be displayed in PSI or Bars. You can also get temperature readouts of each wheel as well, in Farenheit or Celsius. The PSI measurements seem to be spot on. I measured using 3 different units and all were within 2-3 PSI of each other averaging at what I set the psi on the compressor to.This setup is affordable, and can be effective, but it lacks the convenience needed for me to recommend it. There were just too many sacrifices made in order to keep the setup extremely compact.Does the unit work? Yes. Is it convenient? No.Is it priced right? Absolutely. How well does the unit perform it's intended function? Moderately OK.It is good enough, until it isnt. I have a feeling I will get frustrated with not being able to see the readout clearly while driving.
