We recently purchased a AQUTRU countertop water purifier which removes 128 toxic chemicals, fluoride, heavy metals and more after reading the review at Natural News and seeing the youtube video by Truth About Cancer Ty interviewing Mike Adams of Natural News. So we got a 3 Gallon Glass dispenser with stand to hold the water and upgraded the tap to DOZYANT's Stainless Steel Tap.When searching, I was looking for a beer tap leaver rather than a press down leaver because when filling up pots to boil water, the beer tap leaver design works best. Second I wanted on plastic. Our kitchen is almost plastic free. The washers are silicon so there are no health issues. Plastic washers either contain BPA or claim they are BPA Free but do not tell you what they switched to, and its more times than not the more toxic BPS. So we're done buying plastic. Even our straws re Stainless Steel, food containers are glass or pyrex, and our pans are ceramic coated or cast iron or stainless steel.The quality of the engineering is superb. No leaks ever. The handle is strong. The materials used could not be of higher quality. I am certain this will last for years and we use this all-day, everyday.

Purchased for our ZeroWater dispenser to replace the plastic spigot that came with the container. This is such a small, everyday item that we use constantly but it works, didn't cost much, upgrades the look of our dispenser, and is well made and of good quality. It feels sturdy and fits in seamlessly with the container, and doesn't have any added colors or logos. Honestly that's all you could ever want in a product, especially in a world where so many things are poorly manufactured nowadays. This is the spigot that should have come with our dispenser! The fact that this product does everything it's supposed to do without missing any marks makes it one of my favorite things I've bought on Amazon recently, even though it seems like such a small thing!

The media could not be loaded. I bought these to replace the stock spouts that came with my 2 gallon beverage jug I use for brewing kombucha. I just installed them today, so far so good. I only tested the flow with water, and a quick test with the pooch to top off a bottle, but the dispensing flow seems really solid. I really like the style of the spout, as well as the twist open handle, as the flip top opener has a tendency to snap shut if I'm not careful. Also, the twist open spout uses a sort of circular shape with a hole in it, as opposed to a silicone plug like the flip open spout uses.. Interesting.At first I was skeptical of the grommets and washers provided, but they proved to be quite the seal. Again, I tested with water before I poured my booch into the container (nobody wants fermented tea leaking everywhere!). These spouts are everything I had hoped for! They're stylish, functional, easy to use and install (just remember to "pick up and pull" the grommet around the threads of the back of the spout, as to keep the integrity of the grommet!), and the flow, so far, is a solid stream. I will update after a couple brews to see how they are holding up.Also, the washers that came with them turned out to be blue, not plane stainless like the rest of the product. As long as they keep their integrity and hold in the beverage like they're supposed to, I've got no problem with the blue :)

I got this spigot to replace a metallic paint coated plastic one that was on a 2-gallon glass dispenser that I am now using to ferment kombucha. It installed easily, but I was little concerned when I noticed a little bit of "play" in the dispensing lever, as noted by an earlier review. I also was unable to tighten it at all using the phillips screw on the top of the lever. I figured in a worse case scenario I would swap this spigot out for one we have in another larger vessel that we've been using daily for three years to dispense our drinking water. Upon closer examination of that older spigot, however, I realized it appeared to be the exact same model as this newer one. It looked identical and had that same bit of play in the handle. I just had never noticed it before. I guess we have a tendency to micro-examine new purchases looking for potential flaws rather than allowing the flaws to reveal themselves. Been using this new spigot for a week now with multiples turns of the lever and it is flows nicely and shuts off completely with no drips--just like its older brother. No flaws have been revealed. Glad I got this.

This water spigot was a huge upgrade for the water jug we got from Walmart or Aldi. The old one was plastic garbage, and gradually started taking forever for the water to come out. The new one is heavy, solid metal. You can feel the quality. The more you turn the handle, the faster the water comes out of the container. You can’t go wrong with this!

The media could not be loaded. This faucet spout is a great upgrade from the plastic ones that come with ceramic water dispensers. It is all stainless steel and has a simple on/off valve and faucet lever. There are no other moving parts and it is not spring-loaded. It comes with two clear washers and two stainless washer covers, and a stainless nut that tightens from the inside of the water dispenser. You need to use a small wrench after finger tightening it if you want it to be a tight fit and not drip. You can see how sturdy and beefy it is and how it works from the video.
