Easy Build, wide sturdy surface, access hole for cables and open back for top shelf
The first time I ordered this table it was refunded without being delivered. Odd.Additional research shows that Amazon received a damage package and refused to deliver it. I did have to reorder the table, but it arrived promptly (one total week after original receipt date) at same price.Arrived in one pretty heavy box (77 lbs?). I opted to open the box and carry individual components upstairs into my office for assembly. I looked over the instructions before doing so and laid everything out on the floor as best I could.Total build time: 47 minutes (timed). Just me and the cheesy L-wrench provided.Personal notes:Hand tighten everything until you square it up, if possible. Then systematically tighten each bolt slightly (yes, it takes more time, but you will thank me) in sequence until each bolt is finally "snug". Do not overtighten ANYTHING.When you go to put the top surface on, it comes in two pieces. STRONGLY recommend you start in the MIDDLE (where the two top sections meet) and ensure those two pieces are aligned to the best of your ability before working outward. The other sections have a bit of give to them, so they can be "coaxed" into alignment if something is slightly off. Again, hand tighten everything so the top has a bit of lift/play in it so you can see the bolts pass through the structure and align them to the surface. If you don't do this, the guesswork of aligning bolts can become curse-worthy. Once both surfaces are attached to all bolts, flex the entire structure (move the ends in/out and slightly sideways, etc.) until the center pieces match up how you want them and tighten those bolts first. Then work outward from there until the last bolts are tightened. This ensures a flat, connected surface (at least it did for me).Overall Thoughts: Exceptional desk for the price, engineered intelligently (circle in back of lower storage area for wires/cables, will actually fit a DVI connector through it, which is almost unheard of), back of upper shelf in storage area is open, allowing cables/etc. to pass into it. I used the top shelf for my backup battery (8 rear plugs for power to monitors and computer, plus lamp, etc.) and that little shelf supported the weight of my backup battery just fine. Mounting the backup battery high up on that shelf allowed lots of components to plug into it for power without the frustration of trying to locate the nearest wall plug (especially with monitors that don't follow a standard as to on what side/what length the power cords are, and given the fact that my "office" is a COVID-converted closet with one double outlet only).Extremely satisfied with this product, bring your patience with you to the build and plan it ahead of time and you're good to go. Please feel free to ask any questions. I do not see the need to replace this desk for at least 10 years, based on how I have it setup and how well it serves my needs.

Sturdy, long and strong.
Once I saw the video I was able to get past step one which was simply to put the shelf plugs in for the boards. Then I laid out all the packages, first by numbers and then the packets by letter in order. I watched the video and figured out the first steps even though I was alone. My husband and grandson came and then it went together quickly. We DID use a power tool instead of the little slow turner (they called it something weird). But my husband put it on a very low speed so as not to strip it. Worked great. Didn't strip a one. The extra packet of screws made life less worrisome. Didn't need them. Only one board was out of place (backward) but quickly replaced (they forgot to look at directions!). It is heavy when together. We slipped it in the hole and I love it! It is like a long, side table and has my computer, power supply, heavy printer, phone, open space yet, and clean looking. I like the steel legs. Wish the top were made of something more long lasting, but for the price, this is a great deal. AND - the legs are very sturdy and non obtrusive. It's hard to find a long desk like this. I am NOT a gamer but it's in my sewing room and looks terrific with all my black, white and gray. It arrived early and in good condition. No parts were missing.

It is a good item but...
PROS:1.easy to read assembly manual2. Once you assemble it it looks pretty and let you work comfortablyCONS:1. tools, which it comes with, made out of very soft metals and will not last for long. So you must have your own.2. Assembly will require you to have either some additional tools and parts because of mistakes made on part of the manufacturer. For example: longest screws(bolts) for a metals is 2 inches while been is 1,75 inch wide and nut hidden inside of horizontal been 0.5 inch deep. Obviously included screws can not reach nut. You will have to find longer then 2 inches screws with exact same configuration and diameter for build-in nut..3. Screws heads for wooden panels are not flattened and sticks out of the wooden panel. On top that it looks pretty bad it will interfere with wooden part creating cracks, unless you take preventive measures. Once you try to put horizontal panel on the top of the middle box you will see ugly spaces between wooden panels, unless you take some extra steps to fix that issue prior of assembly.4. Manufacturer included to much of some things while not enough of things which is really needed. Example on the pictures attached. There are 36 pieces of 2 inch screws for wooden panels, but only 1 piece of 1 inch screw which is actually needed in at least in 6 different point of assembly!5. Take a look on included pieces. Be aware that positions I an F does not exists even do they really needed. Out of 4 for position I got only 2 ( instead of listed 4!), none for F and none for D!P.S. Bought a second piece.Same problems, so seems that manufacturer need to tighten quality control in their facility.

Perfect desk for working from home!
This desk is wonderful. It allowed enough room for me to keep my personal pc, and work computer equipment separated, with plenty of room in between to set files or use the desk space. I have one pc on one end, with the tower in the middle...and on the other end my laptop with elevated stand, keyboard and a second large monitor. Also have speakers, modem, power strip and surge protector box on the desk in one corner. Nice handy shelf in middle above tower as well. You can set up with 2 chairs as well. Desk space is spacious and never feels crowded. All that...plus it looks great! Also, during shipping the box bottom was ripped open and one of the bracing sticks was missing. I emailed the seller and they got back to me right away, were very accommodating and clear about the time frame in which I would receive the missing part...which arrived exactly as promised. Great customer service. So happy with the desk and the entire experience. Thank you!
