Audiophile Vacuum Tube Amplifiers - Design, Construction, Testing, Repairing & Upgrading, Volume 2

Most excellent book for the tube amp DIY. I have build a lot of amps before I purchase this book, and I will say it made me understand what I did even better. It's not so technical written that you get burn out reading , but very layman's written which will take you to advance level, simply.

This book is a worthy companion to volume one. The author discusses classical tube circuits while adding new-age "tweaks" to peak amplifier performance. I've already purchased the third volume and own about half of his training DVDs. I own many of the "new age" books on tubes and this is the best series so far.

This is a terrific publication, if your into tube audio this is the book you need. I have volume one as well. Both books are really well set out, going from basic electrical theory to how tubes and associated circuits work. Igor Popovich has an excellent way of explaining even the more complex designs. I have built some of the tube amplifiers from these books with fantastic results. I could not speak more highly of this book and would recommend both publications to anyone who has an interest in the wonderful world of tube audio. Brett Edwards

Die Grundlagen der Löttechnik und der Röhrentechnik werden wie schon im zweiten Band intensiv diskutiert und vorgestellt. Der Band lohnt sich!

Very very good books

Bien emballé et livré à temps.J'ai acheté les TOME1, 2 et 3 en se basant sur la table des matières.Je suis très déçu. Style ennuyeux et contenu technique plus que moyen.Ne considère que des tubes sans intérêts ou largement connus.Ne vaut pas le prix exorbitant.

Another great book from Igor. Much more information than most tube books (except Merlin Blencowe's!) and some great design ideas.Will purchase Volume 3!

Così come il primo volume, anche il secondo non delude ... chiaro e completo, un valido aiuto per chi si cimenta nell'autocostruzione o nella riparazione di apparati a valvole.
