Review: Good read! :-) - I’ve read different versions of The Art of War, but this hardcover stands out as my favorite. The unabridged text is divided into 13 chapters and includes Brig. Gen. Thomas R. Phillips’ introduction on Chinese warfare, which gave me a much deeper appreciation for the history behind Sun Tzu’s words. Lionel Giles’ translation is clear and makes the principles easy to apply, not just in the context of battle, but in business, planning, and everyday decision-making. I also love the way this edition feels—compact, durable, and handsomely bound, it’s the kind of book I can keep close, reread, and even pass on as a gift. For the price, it feels like an investment in timeless wisdom, and it’s easily one of the best additions to my library. Review: Works well - Gave it as a gift. They really liked it. It was a nice quality and price. Came in a timely fashion.

The Art of War
Some say it is a collection of the obvious. I say it is a reference of the obvious that I would not necessarily think of, compiled in one place. Get one for your military/survival collection.
