I rated the purchase as 5 star, but I would add another star to rate Amazon's service. I was a bit skeptical about buying custom wheels on line as to issues of correct fit and appearance. I was also dealing with retrofitting a '51 Chevy to the wheels. 1) The American RacingTorq Thrust II wheels look great and are high quality 2) Amazon pricing was the best in the country as I did multiple searches 3) Amazon's delivery and after the sale service were amazing beyond anything imaginable. I had a warranty issue arising from a manufacture's problem. American Racing advised I would have to go through Amazon. It had been 8 weeks since purchase which is 4 weeks past the 4 week window for automatic returns to Amazon. I sent an e-mail to Amazon customer service explaining my issue and referenced the order number. Two HOURS later I received an e-mail asking whether I would like new merchandise or a credit. I explained that the wheels were on my car and I would need replacements as I can't drive the car without them. Four HOURS later I received another e-mail advising that new wheels were enroute. They were in my driveway 12 HOURS later, which is 18 HOURS from the time I asked for help. I would have anticipated a lengthy process requiring validation from a local warranty center and probably weeks of back and forth correspondence. I can only imagine the reception I would have gotten from a brick and mortar center when I asked for warranty validation from an on-line purchase. I have been an Amazon Prime customer for many years and I can say that there is nothing I would be afraid to purchase through Amazon For pricing, selection, and service.
