KitchenAid KCO211 Digital Countertop Toaster Oven

There are several things we love about this toaster oven. One, the controls are simple and easy to use. Two, we get consistent results every time and our toast is always perfect! (Unlike other toasters where you have to keep watch and yank your toast out at the exact right time!). Third, it looks good sitting on the counter. And even though it’s large enough to bake a casserole, it has a small(ish) footprint on the countertop. Overall, we love this thing and think it’s worth every penny. We use it daily and always get great, consistent results. Highly recommend!

Over the years I have had several different brands/types of counter top ovens - toast only, convection, air fry, etc. I use these ovens almost daily, and most didn't last more than a year and were noisy, difficult to clean and had features I never used. I was so glad to find this KitchenAid oven, as I know it is a trusted, high-quality brand. I LOVE this oven - it is easy to use, cooks evenly, is very quiet and very easy to clean. The interior and the removable crumb tray seem to be coated with something that makes messes just wipe right off, which is a huge time saver. I like having the controls at the bottom rather than the side - it allows for maximum oven interior without taking up too much counter space. Also, this is the first oven that toasts so well that I felt comfortable getting rid of my pop-up toaster - I get perfectly toasted bagels, bread, etc. every time. I'm confident this oven will last much longer than the no-name ones I've had in the past, and I'll definitely order another when the time comes!

I can’t say enough good things about this little work horse. We use it several times a day for toast and baking. Our old GE toast-r-oven bit the dust after literally fifty years. I was overwhelmed with the options out there and wanted something that would actually toast toast. Indeed, it does that well and doesn’t take forever to do so. The temperature is fully adjustable. I find it easy to use and clean. I’ve also used it to bake pizza (frozen and from scratch), roast cauliflower steaks, bake muffins, crisp hashbrowns, make cobbler and many more meals. The outside gets hot, just like every other toaster oven. I did opt for the convection model over the air fryer and have zero regrets. After extensive comparison shopping, I’m glad to have selected this one.

In case this gets lumped in with other products, this review is for the plain model. No air-fryer, no rotisserie, no nothing. 1 month into ownership and I must say this is a huge step up from the older models I've had. The digital readout is so much better than the analog controls of previous generations. The electronic timer is nice because there's no ticking as the spring winds down. The old spring driven ones always made me wonder how accurate they were. Controls are intuitive and easy to use. One knob to choose the mode, one knob to adjust and select variables like time, temp, slices, darkness, etc. Then three buttons, one to start cooking, one to stop cooking, and one to add a little time in case your thing is frozen and you don't feel like just turning the knob to add more time. To add time, just turn the knob while it's counting down to add or subtract time. To change temp while it's counting down, push the knob in so it displays the temp, then change it however you like. It's really nice. The ONLY downside to this unit I have found is that the chime when it's done is very soft and there's no way to make it louder. Which really shouldn't cost it a point, but I took one off anyway. Still an outstanding unit.

When I ordered this toaster oven I read the reviews & went back & forth on whether or not to order this toaster oven or a different toaster oven either same brand or different brand and was really overwhelmed because of some of the reviews I had read. I know Kitchenaid is a great brand but some of the reviews really through me off. I was going back and forth mainly between this one & the dual convection countertop oven and finally decided to give this one a shot first. I'M SO GLAD I DID!!! IT HAS EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS IN EVERY WAY!!! And yes the beeping sound when something is done cooking is not that loud, but who cares I can set another timer/alarm. This toaster oven is so beautiful and sleek & looks great on my countertop. It cooks evenly, and the thermostat is accurate & precise. And is so simple and easy to use. So my point is if you're thinking about ordering this toaster oven ORDER IT!!! IT IS MORE THAN WORTH IT!!! I LOVE IT!!!! I HAVE NOT TOUCHED MY REGULAR OVEN SINCE THIS ONE CAME IN!!!! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!

I did a lot of research before buying this countertop oven because I have limited space to work with and I didn't want to get stuck with a piece of crap, This unit is the perfect size for what I need and it works fantastic. I did have some concerns about accurate temperature after reading a couple other reviews but as you can see from the picture I set the temperature at 250° and the oven sat right at 250°. The first thing I did as soon as I got it setup was bake a sheet of nardone's pizza and the results were fantastic, this is definitely 1 unit worth buying. I was a little disappointed over the length of time it took for shipping but it was worth the wait I couldn't be happier. I realize this is only the first day but so far so good I will update in a couple months. PS. The pizza pan fits with about 3/8 of an inch to spare, and the cake pan is a full size 9" x 12" aluminum cake pan from Price Chopper. Update, it has now been three months and this thing is still going strong. Update, it has now been about 5 months and this thing is still going strong. I can bake full size cakes, 12 inch DiGiorno Pizza from Price Chopper and yes it does fit easily oh, I love this thing it's awesome

The adjustable thermostat is another valuable feature of this oven. It allows me to control the temperature quickly and cook my dishes perfectly. Whether baking, broiling, toasting, warming, reheating, or making bagels, pizzas, cookies, roasts, or frozen foods, this oven has a preset cooking function. The versatility of this oven is truly impressive. Regarding accessories, the KitchenAid Digital Countertop Oven has a 9x13 inch baking pan with a grill rack, a removable metal drip and crumb tray, and a removable metal rack. These accessories are all high-quality and enhance the overall cooking experience. The power cord length of 3-1/5 is sufficient for my needs, and the warm-function feature is a great addition. It lets me keep my dishes warm until I'm ready to serve them.

Really like this kitchenaid small oven. Quality is superior in a abordable price range. Useful and fun to operate with simplicity. Preheating pausing the timer is great, and the main control button is working like a charm and it Fast! Presetting are useful too. The digital display is also very beautiful to me and look professionnel / high tech. Max temp is 450F. I ordered the "open" one at $110 CAD and I see no defect, looked like new. 100% satisfaction to me.

Let's be honest: there are cheaper options out there. I wasn't sure at first if the digital control was going to be worth it. But I've been using it for over 6 months now and I love it. The entire oven feels well put together. I think there are really only 3 modes of operation, the rest are just different temperature presets. It either bakes, toasts or keeps warm. That last one is great use of the digital control as it will warm up slowly to not burn the food you just put in the oven. The temperature control also goes really low (150F) which is nice. The size is great, assuming you have enough space for it. Temperature was accurate when I checked it. The only thing I could wish for is a third element, at least on top. This would allow more even cooking. But the large size makes this a minor issue because the elements are usually a good distance from the food. I've not had anything come out really bad, just sometimes you can see the pattern of where the elements are. Also, as others have noted, the provided pan is ridiculously undersized. It would have been nice to have one which fills the entire available space.

It’s easy to use and it obviously does the job, the only thing I dislike about it was that the measurement shown did not match the measurements that I took myself. Otherwise, I’m quite happy with the product.

My old toaster oven was great but the top coils stopped working. It was fresh garden tomato season and we needed a new one to enjoy BLTs. There were so many toaster ovens to pick from. Some are so big and have sp many features. The other smaller ones are cheap and you get what you pay for. I searched based on the exterior dimensions of my old one. This one was the closest fit. Im not interested in baking cookies or a whole chicken in a toaster oven. Works great. One small issue I have is that they suggest to place the rack in the middle for toast. When one does this you have to bend down a bit to see the toast. The glass door, which has a thick band of black trim on it and the handle get in the way to see the top of the toast. This doesnt bother my husband though. Lol
