Bali Women's Double Support Wire-Free Bra, Black, 42C

I have many WireFree Bras but this is my favorite. Good separation (no Una-boob), smooth contour under knitted tops, good lift and separation for heavy cup size (I wear a 38 DDD and am 67 years old), good nipple coverage under knits. It does a great job minimizing large Breast. The only down side and the reason I took away one star is the sides are high and when wearing for very long hours it can be a little bothersome for a short person. On the plus side of that my cup size does not spill over into my arm pits as it has in other Bras. Other than that it is perfect. I normally don't take photos of myself but I know how frustrating it is to find a good bra so I took some for a consumer evaluation.

I've been wearing these cruddy cheap sports bras for years because they were, as I said, inexpensive and comfortable. An ex boyfriend once made a comment when I got a new cruddy sports bra that it looked so much better (with clothes over at the time) because my breasts weren't looking like they needed a little surgical lift. He didn't say it that way, but I've been very self concious about not only the support of my bras but wanting the comfort.When I was younger (and smaller!) I had a Bali bra and loved it to bits. I probably took horrible care of it but I remembered my happiness with it when deciding to chuck the sports bras out. I wanted something pretty but soft, feminine, but most of all the lift that I now apparently need in my mid 40's and breast feeding two children. There's honestly no words to describe how much I love this bra. I swear I'd marry it if I could! There's no pinching or red marks from straps and such afterwards. No painful underwire. If anyone knows of a fantastic underwire bra that feels like I could sleep in it without boning on the sides and no surprise wire working it's way out of my sweater at the grocery store please let me know. Then again, why bother? I've found this bra!I recently bought a playrex 18 hour front closure bra at the same time model 4930 I tried but it was horrible. There's probably 10 hooks in front and I felt like I was being compressed for torture! Playtex is being awesome and taking the bra back. The only "real bras" I've had the last few years were playtex. One of my sons somehow managed to cover it with play putty (after all that breast feeding that's my reward haha) and ruined it. No idea what my 6 year old was thinking in my "delicates drawer with his fancy putty that Santa left him but later he smeared it from elbow to armpit and down to his lowest rib. He actually thought I'd think this was hilarious and showed me. He had to miss school because I was using a thousand cotton balls with rubbing alcohol to take the putty off his armpit and associated areas. Don't you love kids? However, I digress, I could get out the rubbing alcohol and try to revive it but I thought about it and I honestly hate my two other generic 18 hour bras. I think I bought them in a wrong size so it's not all playtex but the straps were I guess ironed closed instead of having a sewn seam but the ironed basting material would come to gap after awhile and uncover this hideous scratchy inside that made my straps unbearable. It wasn't 18 hours it was more like 8 hours and take it off in the car on my way home in the parking lot! I don't know if it's because I'm now "plus sized" or that companies don't really care and just give bigger versions of their average sized bras. Worst idea EVER. I'm short so boning and wires always end up in my armpits digging. I have a huge ribcage (always have) and pretty decent sized breasts. The nylon May or may not hide erect nipples (your turkey is ready!) but I live in a hot climate and when it's cold I wear heavier clothes so it's not a problem.I want ten of these bras. I want it in my size in all the beautiful colors. So Bali, if you read this, please more colors for plus sized ladies. We like to attempt to feel sexy in our bras as well! Hard to pull off that feeling as much in beige and white only. Oh and this doesn't look like ye olde grandma bra if you are plus sized. That was one of the most beautiful parts about this bra. It's inviting and sexy (for beige and white only) and makes you feel like a woman instead of a matron or someone's spinster Aunt wearing huge and ugly bras that look like they'd come from a 1950's Sears catalogue. It gives a nice shape to your breasts, I've slept in mine a few times and no problems. I'm going to order another and browse Bali's other bras. I know I sound like I work for them but I don't. If they want to hire me I'd totally think about it.Plus sized women aren't going away. We're tired of grandma bras with harsh straps that leave divots in your shoulders and underwire poking you in your chubby little underarms. We deserve better. Even grandmas and spinster aunts deserve better bras and this is the one ladies. This is it.Also, I applaud the courage and self assuredness of the lady in her sixties who posted photos of herself in the bra! I hope that I'm half as cool and self assured when I hit I believe it was 67 years old. I'm glad you mentioned that there was no uni-boob problems (the ugly relative of the unibrow I guess). I've had that for years with the sports bras. Regardless, you inspire me and not only do our Brad lift us up, we should continue to all lift each other up as women.Please get the right size. Measure measure measure!!! Don't buy ugly bras and be kind to each other.

I have 5 of these and may get a couple more. My most important factors are SUPPORT and short straps. I am only a 36B but my OBGYN uses the term "dense". You can read that as "heavy". Also I am in my 60's so gravity is not my friend. This is the first bra that keeps me up "where I belong" and is not at all uncomfortable. My other issue is that I have a very petite frame and am 4' 11''. Most bra straps are too long for me even when pulled as short as they go. This bra fits perfectly at the shortest setting. Also the straps have little bumps along the outside to keep them from coming loose. Before wearing the first time, it is fairly difficult to get the slider to move. That is a good thing because once the right settings is found, the slider stays in place.

This is the first time I tried this style of Bali bra. When I opened the package and saw that the bra straps had no give at all, It has 5 hooks in the back, which I've also never had before. I didn't think there was anyway I'd like it. I tried it on and it felt comfortable so I figured I'd give it a try. Turns out I love this bra - by far the most comfortable bra I've ever owned. This bra gives great support, the wider band in the back keeps the bra from moving and smooths the back out. It stays in place, doesn't ride or irritate and pretty soon you forget you even have it on. I've already purchased 2 more bras exactly like this one in different colors and love them all. The only con that I can give is if I move just right the straps sort of creak. I'll put up with a little creak for a bra this comfortable.

This bra fit well. I am large busted (32DDD but 34DD in this bra) and it was comfortable other than being able to hook the band on the last row right out of the package. I did not have a uniboob, side boob, or saggy boob with it BUT...it only lasted three weeks! Three.measly.weeks. The clip that allows you to adjust the shoulder strap snapped in half in the middle and I am always careful adjusting/putting bras on because I don't have money to waste. When I get a new bra it's because I've worn out the old ones. I've had bras that last years, also Bali, but not this one! So disappointing. Amazon, however, gets FIVE stars for making it right, as usual!

Most comfortable bra for working 12 hour shifts for someone with large bust. No underwire to dig in sides or rub you wrong. Holds the girls in place. My boobs don't look like a 20 something in this bra. But I am also not 20 something either. If you want your boos up high and perky this is not the bra. But if you are about function before fashion and being comfortable for long days is important this is the bra for you

Gives remarkable perkiness to aging breasts and all from a bra with no underwiring. Fantastic, individual breast support for well defined shape. Definitely no mono boobs with this one. One of the best of its kind. Comfortable as heck too. I have a few. It does run slightly large in the cup size as I have found some Maidenforms to do.

I find that the bra slides up my back and I can't seem to get it to fit right, despite it being correct band and cup size. The material does seem nice and soft though. Only suggestion would be to perhaps size down?? Though I'm still unsure if that would do the trick. Seems to lack structure.

This product was hard to find in store. I decided to type in the Wonder bra number and then this came up as Bali. I could not be more happy. This bra fits perfectly on me and I cannot find another bra to match it. The material is soft and not one part of this bra feels scratchy against my skin. When I found this on Amazon I bought two for Christmas. In regards to the price, all bras are pricey but if they go on sale I most definitely will buy even more.
