Farley's & Sather's Butterscotch Discs, 3lb Bulk Bag

These are falsely being advertise as Farley's & Sathers Butterscoth.When in fact the wrapper that comes is clear -not gold, the shape of the candy is a rounded disc where Farley's & Sather's have a shape of a button with a ridge . When eating/sucking the disc falls apart like a strainer and the Taste is not bad but a far cry from Farley's & Sather's butterscotch.

I have ordered these candies twice now. The first time I was looking for a candy similar to the old Brachs Butterscotch Discs I had as a kid. The first batch I got was a suitable substitute, but the most recent order was different than the first. The first batch came in a wrapper that twisted on both ends and the candy looked and tasted like the old Brachs brand did. The second order, placed a few months later, had different looking candies and each candy was in a square sealed wrapper. The candies don't taste as good either.While the current batch of candies is okay and I will most likely finish them, I don't know if I will order any more from this company if they don't put out a consistent product.I should have gotten the same exact candy both times as I ordered the second time by going to my previous orders and reordering from there so I would get the same product as before.

First, this butterscotch candy is marketed as "King Sweet," not Farley & Sather's, Ferrera, or any other brand you may be familiar with. So, you're not getting what you thought you were, if you went by the name advertised. Is the candy good butterscotch candy? Well, it's certainly not bad. The pieces are all individually twist-wrapped, which is nice. But while it has the traditional flavor, it doesn't last very long. I seem to recall similar candy that I had in the past (Brach's?) was larger and lasted longer, but I could be wrong. So, I'm basically taking two starts off because the brand is mislabeled and the candy is fine, but nothing that really stands out, flavor-wise.

I am a life long butterscotch consumer and this product is the worse tasting butterscotch I ever tried and disposed the package due to this butterscotch is just plain horrible surprised this item even gets sold other then to first time buyer like I was but seriously this butterscotch is just sad to say as mentioned horrible.

The reason I am so disappointed in these candies is that the photo shows that they are wrapped in translucent gold wrappers, which is the exact reason I bought the candies. I have my grandma's candy jar, from when I was a little girl, and I wanted to put the exact candies in that she always had. She put butterscotch candies wrapped in translucent gold wrappers and that is what I wanted. The candy that I received was wrapped in clear wrappers. it's unfortunate that the photo shows the candy in translucent gold wrappers.

I purchased this item twice.The first time it came in a clear individual wrapping with all the candies in a larger bag liner. It had a good flavor.The 2nd time it came in a yellow individual wrapping in a box without a bag liner. It tasted very bad.I have requested a return/exchange. I still have not heard back. DO NOT BUY.I am unable to return even though my request game a week after purchase.Avoid the poor service and random product.

i love butterscotch candies, so finding this was epic. that is untill i put it in the bowl. i keep a big bowl for hard candies. apparently half of these individually wrapped candies has a hole in the wrappers. this means there is a sticky mess and half of the candies are soggy and not safe to eat let alone hand out to any guests.if you buy this. check every single piece of candy for holes and either return the lot, or keep em for yourself.

Let me start of by saying, butterscotch has been the reason for my existence for over twenty years. I am twenty years old. Now that you understand, I will tell you about my transcendent experience with Farley & Sather's butterscotch: it's alright. I'm probably going to purchase from another purveyor next time, if this disappointingly lackluster candy doesn't kill me first. P.S. It lacked that buttery taste that butter-scotch (emphasis) tends to bless you with.
