X5 Grill - X6 Black Front Kindey Grille for 2014-2019 BMW X5 F15 X6 F16 X5M F85 X6M F86 (Gloss Black-Double Slats)

Super easy install! Looks super clean and fits perfectly!

It seems to be a quality product, but difficult to install. Specifically it is difficult to get the old grill out without breaking the old grill despite viewing all the videos on Utube and being a reasonably skilled person with a variety of tools. However once the old grill is out, the new one installs easily and fits well and looks great. Breaking the old grill is not really a problem unless you want to reinstall it which is unlikely. However one must be careful not to break any of the tabs on the body in order to have a proper fit for the new grill.

I was skeptical of the quality these would be and could not be more surprised! I changed out the silver grill inserts from my BMW X5 to these black ones and they look amazing! They were super easy to install as well!

I have a 2021 BMW X5 e/PHEV with M trim and the gloss black double slat grille was crazy easy to install. You just need a flat head screwdriver to push down and pop out the initial grille (I YouTubed it - the grooves to remove it are under the hood), but be careful as the front camera (should you have one) is installed in the grille and will have to be popped out as well (no screwdriver needed for that though - also, pay attention to which way is up for the camera!). Then you just pop the camera in the new grille and push the tabs back into the hood area (again, no tools needed here). Can’t believe how easy it was and how good it looks for under a hundred bucks! What a steal!

Grill is a perfect fit, looks great and was super easy to install!

Arrived in perfect condition in carefully packed box (no scratches or mars). Very attractive. Only critique would be the plastic tabs are very thin plastic and very brittle (I.e. no ‘flex’ while installing). One broke (top right) while snapping it into place. But the grip of the others anchor it in solidly. Not sure I could remove and reinstall it again though if I have to going forward.

Had it installed in 20 minutes. 4 (maybe 5?) tabs just in front of the radiator fascia. Loosen. Pull top forward and ease out forward and up. Install, bottom in first and tilt in to clip into fascia. Double check the bottom clips to make sure they are seated, then check top. Vanes behind grill open and close properly. We’ll see how it holds up over time. For now couldn’t be more pleased.

Gloss is not too shiny as I was expected, but for is not bad. Arrived on time and well protected.

I bought these replacement grills but should have read the reviews rather than count on the customer rating. Cheap plastic garbage. The tabs wouldn’t quite fit and when I applied a bit of pressure to get the tabs to click the grill broke. The other side did the same thing. Then you can’t get the grill off without breaking the entire thing. Wish I could get my money back but the grill is in pieces. Lesson learned ....... you get what you pay for. I’ll never buy from this seller again.
