Within less than 1 year, the back control panel started to warp and within a few weeks of it beginning to warp, about half of the buttons quit working. Fortunately we were still within the one year warranty period, but it still was like pulling teeth to get Frigidaire/Electrolux to come our and fix their garbage designed appliance. So finally, they came out and replaced the entire board and key pad.................and then about 10 months later THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN! Only this time, the range was more than one year old. Frigidaire/Elextrolux didn't care. They were, in fact, quite rude on the phone.......so for the last few years, we have been able to turn the oven on and keep limping along, but to turn the oven off, we have to go to the garage and turn the oven off at the breaker. This is incredibly unsafe. It blows my mind that such a product would even be allowed to exist on the market. Government has failed us too. We have reported the issue to the CPSC and nothing but crickets......I guess someone will have to die or get seriously injured for Frigidaire / Elextrolux or the federal government to care. What a sad, sad world it is that we live in.I don't know how in the world the executive leadership, shareholders or anyone associated with this company sleeps at night knowing darn good and well that they make dangerous products that could seriously injure or kill someone. My husband is an Engineer and he says without a doubt that the product has a design flaw related to the build up of heat in front of the control panel and the quality of the laminates and adhesives used to make the control panel cannot withstand the temperatures. Its very telling that Frigidaire has now discontinued making the larger display panels........because they know they have a serious design flaw with their product.Now, just 3 days ago, we cant even get the oven to turn on....it is completely broken and the cost to replace the damaged part is $200.....I feel so used and betrayed by this company. We cannot afford to go and by another, but we cant afford to go and by a $200 part that we know will fail in less than one year.Does anybody who works for Frigidaire / Elextrolux have a conscious? Does any one at that company care about the mental anguish and suffering that they inflict upon other human beings? This was supposed to be a happy birthday gift for me and it has turned into a nightmare.Thanks a lot Frigidaire / Elextrolux. I will never never never by a product made by your company as long as I live and I will always tell my friends or anyone else looking for appliances of how bad an experience I had.. not just with the product itself, but with the company that sells it. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Disheartening *by R***0 on Reviewed in the United States on May 20, 2016* We bought this model in February, 2014 as part of a house renovation, and began using it that June. The temperature calibration for the oven has never been accurate despite several attempts to get it set properly. Two weeks ago, absent any pressure down upon it, the left oven door hinge broke - - just came undone - sending that half of the door to the floor, and bending the right hinge. Bent, as well, was the connecting rod to the grill shelf. Bear in mind, this was after just two years of use. (A wooden stick presently holds the oven door in place.)I have been up the complaint chain from Frigidaire to parent company Electrolux, where there was grudging willingness to offer new parts, but not labor. The availability of warranties simply underscores the fact that one is playing roulette with kitchen appliances these days.....the days of two and three decades of reliability are long gone. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars After 5 years need to repair *by L***N on Reviewed in the United States on April 20, 2015* Control board fails.
