I looked at many hall trees and most were above $140 for a comparable size. Which I thought was reasonable. At the last minute I chose this industrial/farmhouse style hall tree rather than a solid one, mainly because of the price and thought that the high contrast against my wall would look nice. I received a $5 off coupon making it just under $94. I put this together, by myself, in 1 hour 15 mins. It was a smooth operation. All parts and pieces were there and all fit together perfectly. All fasteners are screwed in with an allen wrench, which is provided. The hall tree is stable (I do not have it anchored to my wall) and the seat is very sturdy and stable to sit on with ample room (I am 5' 3" and weigh 120 pounds). Actually the seat/bench is a little high for me (21" high), so if you are taller than myself, the bench seat will work well for you. The 9 hooks can be fastened on to the boards or left loose. I left them loose for the time being and it is working fine. I especially like the fact that there is room for tall boots. I can easily fit 4 pairs of shoes and 2 pairs of boots on the shelves. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I was thrilled when putting this together , the size is excellent , Great Quality, Sturdy well designed plenty of space for hanging your coats purses belts instructions were easily understandable once built it’s fairly heavy but worth the price at least I can trust it will last , it complements that country feel if that’s your style holes were pre drilled except for the hooks they left that to your decision if you would rather be able to adjust your hooks or make them permanent I used mine and made more of a pattern out of them all parts were in the box including tools necessary to put it together and even a few extra screws and parts if need be , took me about 30 minutes by myself to put together love this beautiful piece of furniture that compliments my home

The assembly on this could have been easier. The instructions are simply pictures with almost no text. However, each piece is properly labelled which makes it fairly simple to assemble. It took me about 30 minutes taking my time, with only needing my wife to hold the top boards while I screwed them in place. The most frustrating aspect is installing the main piece of particle board. After assembling all other parts, it makes for a very snug fit. If doing it again, I would install this piece before I installed the top half and left plenty of room for it to wiggle into place. However, a simple rubber mallet did the trick with only a few hits, so this is nit picking at best. The included allen wrench is your standard soft metal that started to have issue keeping a hold towards the end, but not enough to make it difficult. For the assembled product itself, the only con would be the top board. It is very flimsy, to the point just a bit of pressure from me and it starts to bend. This is not a surprise in and of itself, but I would not recommend putting anything more than a few pounds on it. The quality of the finish on the particle board is very nice and hopefully will hold up for some time. The coat hooks are sturdy to the point I decided not to screw them in as I couldn't imagine any of our coats and bags having any ill effect on the boards. All and all, this is a good product that we are happy with and feel the money was well spent.

I've had the coat rack for a few months and just love it. It's sturdy and was easy for me to assemble. It looks nice and holds my rain boots, tote bags, and purse. The bench is really nice to sit on while I'm putting on or taking off my shoes. I decided to attach the hooks to the boards because I didn't want them sliding around. I liked that I could place the hooks anywhere I wanted instead of having the location already decided by the manufacturer.

After reading the reviews about stripped bolts and misaligned parts, I decided I’d give this hall tree a shot and I’m super glad I did! The holes for the upright connectors were not misaligned, all you have to do is leave the bolts loose until you get all of them screwed in and then tighten them. I’m a 58 year old woman and I assembled this hall tree by myself on a 36x36 inch stair landing. I took my time and made sure I went slowly and deliberately so I didn’t strip any of the screws and it went together just like it was supposed to. We don’t have a proper coat closet in our apartment and the only place for coats and shoes is halfway up the stairs because the ceiling there is 12 feet high. I also wanted to cover up a super ugly doorway to the hot water heater. This was exactly the right piece for our needs. The upright post goes behind the handrail, which negates the safety strap. It’s solid and fits like a glove. Highly recommended.

I had to come back and review this one!! I ordered a used version of this product and was delighted to find it was in perfect condition, "like new" as advertised. All hardware, frames, slats, etc. were present and entirely undamaged. As for the item itself, I am really happy with our purchase. All parts of the nook tree feel solid and sturdy, and they fit together very snugly. Assembly took about 20-25 distracted minutes and everything uses the included allen wrench except the optional phillips screws to affix the hooks to the wood slats. Once assembled, it was clear to me that in our household with no kids, we wouldn't need the included securing straps for stability. A quick adjustment to the plastic feet ensures the nook tree sits level; so far, we've put up to about 30-35lbs on the hooks with no indication that the nook tree was going to fall, even with a firm jiggle. Buyers should pay attention to the product width if shoe storage is a major factor. We both have medium-to-small sized shoes, and four pair barely fit across the bottom. I haven't tried, but I imagine two smaller pair (women's size 7ish) could squeeze together on the half-shelf below the bench. For us, the shoe storage is just for our "main" shoes/boots, so not much of a problem. Overall, I highly recommend this product, especially at this price.

Sturdy, and well designed. I love that you can move the hooks, it makes it easier to fit more on when backpacks or bulky coats are in the mix.

There was one side that was bent but it wasn’t an issue to me. I love how it’s very sturdy and perfect for the size itself. Also, no scratches so it was a plus. The instructions wasn’t making sense because there were some parts that I would suggest should be done first, so I didn’t bother following the manual😂 I assembled it myself too (and I’m a short woman 🤪) finished within an hour. Thank you for making sure to deliver the correct product, color and overall product in good condition!

I love the construction of it. Long to assemble, but a great time to see how much it is well made. I did find a way to not screw the hooks, putting a patch of eva foam inside. They don't move, but I can move them around in the future if i need to. The height is just perfect and I am glad that I chose the one with the shelf at the top. I use it already.
