I purchased these lids when starting to make my own kefir. They are easy to use and work so well I don't need to use a strainer to separate the kefir from the grains. I also like the fact that they come in a package of two lids of different colors so I can tell which is the current batch in process and which is the already processed batch of kefir.

These lids are awesome! They make it so easy to make my water kefir. I plan to buy another set...wouldn't do it any other way!

If you like your milk kefir to ferment for longer and it gets very thick, the lid holes are too small to strain the kefir from the kefir grains.

I like the idea but I might be doing something wrong or the strainer does not really work. It clogs. I need to stir to get the kefir through so I need to open the lid to pour. I had envision this as 'just pour'.

Super useful and easy to clean. They are perfect fit to jars and very sturdy. Maybe a better locking system is needed for the next design.
