Big enough for coffee thermos, soup thermos, two water bottles, two cans of drink, two ice packs and a protein shake. The storage in the lid is big enough for sandwiches and works great as a litter bin. Elasticated pouches at the ends allow for first aid essentials and snack bars etc. The inside of both the main compartment and lid section are lined with very soft and sensual pvc that is completely waterproof and easy to clean. With adjustable shoulder strap for easy carrying and sturdy hand straps as well this bag is hard to beat. Have been using mine for a number of months now and so far it is not showing any signs of wear.
