Great military holster
I like to carry my old 1911 A1 in this holster. It's comfortable and easy to throw over your shoulder and snap on your belt if you'd like. Walking the property or target shooting, it's worked out great. It seems to be pretty good quality for the price too.

Minor discrepancies
Holster has minor discrepancies from the original M3 (Enger-Kress) holster: 1. belt loop is MUCH longer than the original 2. Shoulder strap is much longer and is a single width; the original M3 (Enger-Kress) widens slightly to 1 3/16" where it goes over the shoulder, and continues with the wider width all the way to where it is sewed to the holster body next to the heel of the pistol handle. 3. The "US" emblem is slightly larger than the original. 4. the cut-out for the trigger guard is slightly lower than on the original, probably because of the "US" emblem being larger. The holster appears to be well made from good quality materials The minor discrepancies will not affect functionality.

Great Holster For The Money
I really dig this holster. It's great for just tossing on in a pinch. I bought mine for a Beretta 92fs and it fit like a glove. Retention is strong enough to almost negate the need for the strap. I could also fit my Heritage Rough Rider in there with no issues. If you're big and round like me, however, the belt loop might dig into your side (more of a personal issue than a product error). To alleviate that, simply let it hang on your side, and when drawing your sidearm, hook your left hand thumb into the belt loop to hold it in place.

Quality leather and stitching . I have had several shoulder holsters ; this one is a great value and one that I recommend for fit and function .
