The large fits like a large on him
Ok so I sized up per the other reviews. Got a large instead of a medium for my boo, who is 5'7" and 130 lbs. The large fits like a large on him. We did wash it and it shrunk a bit, so now it's loose without being totally ridiculous. He's gonna look great and be nice and cool at the ren faire. I kind of want one.One note: the drawstrings are very long and not super cute (they look like unfinished shoe laces), so you might want to replace with leather or ribbon/cord to jazz this up a bit.

Nice for the price
This seems a little small for a large, maybe more of a medium. But my hubby is a small guy, so this should fit him perfectly. The fabric seems this and good quality for the most part. Over all happy with this purchase.

Perfect Fit
My husband and I both can wear this comfortably. He pairs it with his kilt or "pirate" pants. I pair it with various things such as a corset, "pirate" pants, and skirts. We changed the string to some suede string for a more convincing look.

Would recommend.
Its definitely not a form fitting shirt, but it was used for a pirate costume for the mermaid day parade and hit on all the levels needed. It was a thicker material which was surprising. Would recommend.

Fits like a classic fit shirt.
Bought for a ren faire this weekend. Is it historically accurate? No. Will it get me in the mood to participate and keep me cool? Yes. For some reason I expected the fit to be off so even though I wear a L in non-slim fit shirts I bought an XL but a L would have been fine.

Great Quality, exactly as advertised.
Great quality -- the material is a sturdy cotton and it's very durable. Used it as a costume for a play and it survived grown men wearing it, horsing around, and acting out a battle on stage. Not color fast -- it did bleed in the wash, using cold water, but otherwise a great purchase. I'm very happy with the accuracy of the design, and how authentic it looked on stage.
